this project has existed since I discovered MGE in 97 - a gauntlet emulator
this would be the task:
>disassemble the 68000 code from the arcade roms
>make it work with an assembler
>defeat the slapstick hardware
>re-learn to code 68K assembler
>figure out a complex program written in mnemonic byte codes
