yes, year in review, my (old, we did this in college) current thing
I'm still modding - the 2019 collection of 365 days contained a break though;

what went on with that?
WIP: map chunks, map chunks, and... map chunks
-- current theme - base run ( e1m1, e2m1, e3m1, e4m1 )
until end of april month relative time frame
map chunks for a base theme level to play in the quake-hack engine
it works fine - looks like a random quake base level
plays a bit repetitve and boring for now
someone did offer to help with map chunks, I intend to take them up
if that will work out for both our satisfaction
after that game wise;
I finished off terraria to the august month range
and some pac-man 256 and pac-man championship (both crazy updates to the old pac)
then it was actual hardware mods on the new vehicle
(yes this crow vinyl is my image .sig now)

one of those sort of "unplanned" breaks took me away from modding
after I finished terraria in august serious side track occured...
well video game projects and code, I've been doing real-life hardware mods
I'll post some pics of that
and some things have changed so I need to take a look at the mod list and decide what to possibly drop and what to finish

took a break last year
Recently re-did my gaming setup
I now have the 40" monitor on the game system in a stand-up arcade style config
with the x-arcade this feels a bit more authentic
but more important it gets the gaming out of the cramped office corner its been trapped in for 3 years
now I can have more focus on gaming instead of a choice between modding / writing / watching too much video
Back to modding
Now I have to decide between quake hack and the archon mod

Then I stepped up to some followspot on nutcracker for a week and blam!
Next week will be hit or miss - need to get all the christmas stuff done I couldnt handle this week. *Sigh*
I'll see if I can dump the Quake-Hack demo as it is for a release. Be a bit rough, but if I can throw in random monsters, there will be something to play.
PK 3.0 is a few weeks or month(s) away.
Archon is even further.
The big decider is how hard pkbots will be to re-intergrate into the new code base.
(I've discovered frikbots are sort of lame without the pkbot to kick them in the robot-***)
Not the christmas release I hoped for, but if the code isnt ready, it just isnt there. (C'mon Santa, give me some props here...)
I have to visit family this weekend, so any Six Gaming queries will be answered next week!
