If you're interested, we do have most of our tiers still open to new backers on the site. Inovaestudios.com Prices are slightly higher than during the KS, and some have fewer perks, but it's there if you want to get in during the beta :) Early access (our next step) is targeted for September of this year.

We're still implimenting our weapons systems, and some of the firing rates for our large guns are already 4 seconds between shots, which doesn't seem like much given the number of guns capital ships currently have.

More weapon types to look forward to, and plenty of balancing work ahead of us ;)

Technically the model is able to be 3D Printed, although a bit of engineering work would need to be done before it could operate as a proper bobblehead. Although right now it would make a nice little desk figurine without a bobble feature...

We plan on making these available as cockpit dressing for those who backed us during the Kickstarter, or during our ongoing IndieGoGo campaign, at the appropriate backer level.

We do currently allow users to set up their own controller profiles, so it is possible to use a joystick or gamepad, however it does require some manual setup at this time.

We're currently in Pre-Alpha, so only our DevTier backers have access to the latest builds at this time.

We've thought about providing a demo of the tech, however have decided against that for now, but may be open to providing a limited user experience in the future.

While we are regularly compared to other space games in the wider genre, our focus is primarily on massive multiplayer combat experiences, rather than exploration, trade, or galaxy scaled gameplay. Infinity: Battlescape will take place in a single solar system, and focus intensely on massive PvP battles. So while we're often compared to Elite, Star Citizen, and others within the wider genre, we're still offering a unique gameplay experience :)

We do have plans to provide a limited offline single player exploration mode, for those who would prefer to explore and experience the tech in a more peaceful environment.

It definitely draws on a similar design language, although in both cases it's a much larger ship. Millennium Falcon ~35meters, Defiant ~170meters, and the Infinity: Battlescape Destroyer class capital ship is ~350meters on their longest axis.

We've nearly wrapped up the final model for this particular ship :)

That's true, but the foundations for larger projects are beginning to take shape.

We wrote an article on the I:TQFE IndieDB page, prior to the Infinity:Battlescape announcement, on our plans for the project moving forward. It's worth a read if you haven't already ;)

We've implemented 3 playable factions, players cannot create their own factions, but we'll likely provide tools for players to organize fleets and squadrons in game for better co-ordination and team play.

The game will provide 6 playable ship types at release, 3 smaller ships; interceptor, bomber, corvette. And 3 capital ships; Destroyer, Cruiser, Carrier. Ships will have customizable weapon loadouts that can be selected each time you spawn a new ship (assuming resources are available)

AI bots weren't originally part of our plan for the game, however we decided to include them in order to stress test the system. Hundreds of AI all firing weapons at the same time gives us something rather spectacular to work with ;)

Improving the AI for actual gameplay purposes is something we've begun to explore, but we haven't yet decided how far the AI should be developed. There are still a lot of core gameplay features that need to be addressed before we can really polish a decent "AI" framework :)

The bots have definitely given life to the current build of the game. We may continue to develop them in the future, but want to ensure our core features are developed first. The current bots are pretty simple at the moment.

At the very least, it gives our low population server something to shoot at (since so few of our backers have access at the moment)

We`re planning a single player sandbox mode. Single player exploration proves to be quite interesting, but the game is definitely designed with multiplayer at it`s core :)

In order to finance our dreams, we've limited alpha/beta testoing to our backers on Kickstarter and IndieGoGo.

Our DevTier backers already have access to the prototype, with alpha access in the future.

Most definitely. The current prop system is included here only as an indication of scale. The final surface prop solution will incorporate dynamic levels of detail based on distance / performance limitations.

It's one of the many features planned for development Post KS Campaign. :)
