Yeah, definitely brings back memories of modding back then. I remember everyone you described :)

Awesome! I remember playing quite a bit of RnL because it was fun role-playing with the realism.
One of the more interesting trailers I've seen, and not because of the nudity.. I haven't payed attention to this mod for a long time, but now I am generally more curious now.
I like the way it's going, but I think to improve on the realism would be to create weld marks where there would be.
Starcraft Bunker? Interesting, you have a good idea with displacement. Send me your next work. You will get better, just practice. Also read some art books, you will improve in a lot ways. Go to my profile and see my very first model and then see what I have done recently. PM me if you need any advice, I always like helping starters :p.
I'd like to note that I did not vote in the poll since it's black and white. In my opinion do what works best for you guys and I'm sure it will turn out great!
Yep, I'll support anything that works best for the developers!
It needs more definition on the eyes and lips. The eyes can be facing us a bit more and thin the jaw a bit.
I like it. I think it'll make the ambiance much nicer. Though it will need to immediately change whence action happens.
Make sure you have the other Half-Life 2 Episodes installed, and or deathmatch. You shouldn't be receiving any errors.
This would definitely be the first mod I'd like to help with again. Had a blast playing it back in 2010. Sadly though, i'm not much a coder, more a modeler and designer.
Proportions are out of whack
Fixing that as I type XD
Well good luck to you guys, all the best wishes to fellow stalkers!
Goku getting hit by a spirit bomb? Did Gohan deflect it towards Vegeta and miss? :O Liking the effects!
For a second there I almost re-hyped myself over the games release. Haven't played it in a while, gonna do so today ^.^
< 3D Modeler here, I'm getting a 404 on your application page. Message me if you're interested, I only have the the pictures I have uploaded on ModDB on my profile, check them out.
I know all about the bad PR with this game and the developer, but they are giving it out for free to all the owners of the original. That is free content for them. If you insist on saying something bad, please back it up with reasons. I'm sure you wouldn't want people calling you an Ignorant SOB for no reason, unless you deserved it and they stated why, then it is a much more accepted story.
Real question is, why are you voted down for an opinion lol? The most fun I've had is with competitive and single player experiences. My example for my competitive mod choice would be Modular Combat. My single player choice would be Research and Development. Moddb.com
Moddb.com.
Thanks, but this was made before Planet Side even came out! Even before beta.
All I have to say that if you were booted from the team you have no say. :\.
Who needs Black Mesa when you have SWAG...
*Thinks about it*
*Sends SWAG away*
Never knew there was such a thing as a 'Pointless Mod'.
So there's no "give me 20 dollars?" lol
I really liked the mod for Half-life 2, I haven't played any of the game but I would like to. Though I do have something I would like to say. I watched the kickstarter video and I know you have to say things to please the viewers and get them excited, but when you mentioned that you "Feel when you get hit/hit your opponent" I cringed a bit. I say this because I never feel like I'm swinging a sword or a huge axe, I feel like I'm wielding a piece of paper. The reason why is because when you hit the opponent your sword should stop swinging and not continue on its path, sure you can say it's a slash but from what I see you can be right next to each other and its just goes through them and yet their body is intact (adding camera shakes don't help). So until the game starts improving on some of the immersive breaking elements I just don't see this becoming that great. I guess that's why I always see myself playing the ranged classes, since it's hard to go wrong with them. My 2 cents.
It needs leg movement. Other than that it's cool.

Haven't been doing a lot of work lately, but I've been getting back on track, and getting much better at my work.
