The mod works perfectly fine with Half-Life 2: Update, but crashed with Episode 2. I've attempted to look through the comments section and any complaints are of missing files within the different versions. Do I require a specific branch of Source SDK in order to play other games, or do I just need HL2, Update and the Episodes?

1. I am unsure of why there isn't a gameinfo.txt in the files, as when I last ran the mod, it used to work perfectly in Steam. It must have come from some change from the developer of Insolence.

2. This is likely due to some form of patch from the original developer, as mentioned earlier.

Basically, yes. In 1999, it was running under the GoldSrc Engine. Also, I am not using the branch, it's just a background.

I had forgotten to mention. It requires the original Insolence mod at its most recent update. Also, it only adds minor content.

I have released the mod under the name "Insolence: Update". The mod has no assets from your mod, so it requires yours in order to run properly.

At some random point in time, I had made edits to the latest version of Insolence, mainly fixing some issues and adding new content.

Temporary sound effects to replace those missing
A background from the GoldSrc days of HL2
A fix for one of the broken backgrounds
The proper icons for beta weapons (AR1, OICW, and SMG2)
