Hi, I have a problem with the mod - I'm stuck in the menu. I can open the chapter list but no matter which chapter I click on, no level will load. The actual game won't start. Why?

Couldn't agree more about anomaly. It is boring and gimmicky.

Furthermore, it goes against what S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was supposed to be: a game which creates dense, tense and enjoyable atmosphere through the means of great AI and meaningful story. Definetely not by making the player feel absolutely miserable along every step they take.

Once you install the "Old World" addon (which transforms the game into a traditional S.T.A.L.K.E.R. format), you realise just how pointless Anomaly really is when you don't have to worry about all the overblown additional mechanics.

Dumbest comment ever. There are people who get motion sickness from VR. Some can't use VR because of disabilities and others simply can't afford to buy it or don't want to invest money into it just to play a single game and never touch it again. It's not a cheap technology, after all. Step out of your selfish closeminded bubble and THINK about the benefits of this mod for a bit.

That's definetely not an AK-47. Hard to judge from this angle, but it's either an AK-74 or an AKM. Most likely an AK-74.

256 color .bmp's glitch on newer Windows versions. They change colors and drop quality if tampered with in paint, as you can see here.

I suggest using something like Irfanview to make the textures full color first. Then you can modify them however you like in whichever program you like. After that just run the textures through Irfanview again and make them 256 color so that they can be used in Half-Life models.

Speaking of, has any one of you ever got the thought of using CS 1.6 veersion of de_nuke? It already looks like Mesa and I think for an OP4 map where the H.E.C.U. are trying to find and defuse a bomb set up by the Black Ops would be not only interestng, but also fitting to the premise of the CS map.

No, I was talking about FI. It seems kinda weird to have 3 medics in a group all run out of healing resources. But I guess it is possible after all.

As far as the player healing goes (manual one at least), I wasn't ever able to force the medic to heal me, no matter my HP level which sometimes was indeed below 75.

Thank you for the reply. Obviously the main point is the enhanced squad mechanic and visible NPC health which make the life so much easier for the player. It's something OP4 could really use.

As far as the various other features go, medics are no longer working as walking medkits. That was an important part of OP4's design - it's even included in the boot camp.

Speaking of medics, I've noticed they will only heal friendly soldiers directly after a fight and only if those soldiers were a part of a single group with the medics, following the player at that moment.
When you bring a new soldier to the group the medics of that group will ignore him, even when he only has 10 HP (which is pretty low obviously).

Then there are some tiny features which could be tweaked but which have absolutely zero effect on the gameplay. For example the changed positions of various weapons, compared to OP4.
According to the save files, the last time I've played OP4 was back in 2018. Yet still I got confused every single time while searching for the sniper rifle, barnacle grapple, etc. And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

I finally got the time to play more OP4 maps through Field Intensity and found some problems. The campaign works for the most part in both 1.1 and 1.2 versions (as long as normal OP4 grunt models are used). However, the boot camp not so much.

FI's liblist stated the designated training map for FI was the OP4's Boot Camp. However, it doesn't work. Drill instructors and recruits don't exist and the military police guys have gotten lazy. They don't say anything when I try to enter wrong doors.

I recognise that being able to play the old OP4 through this (amazing) mod wasn't probably the intention, but would it be possible to fix these issues?

His "not good" models are better than what most people around here are capable of producing. Especially me, because I can't create even a model of a cardboard box.

Anyways, is there any chance you'd be able to find the viewmodel of the AKS-74U?

Damn, these Alpha soldiers look so much more badass than the final version. Why didn't they keep them? It's also interesting to see the AKS-74U with a laser pointer on its suppressor.

I remember seeing that gun in a footage of one of the very first versions of the game. They even had a first person viewmodel of it. Back then they were using Spetsnaz soldiers from CS:CZ, interestingly. And they were fighting gonomes, among other things.

Too bad we don't have the full set of models from that era.

There's no such thing as "AK-47M". There are AKM and AK-47. The gun in Elysium is an AKM.

That being said, THANKS!!! I absolutely love the Elysium AK and I am happy thst we finally have it in BF2. This is awesome.

Take all the time you need. Here are some ideas I have about the pack (of course you don't have to follow them):

1) The original alpha soldiers look better than the TGE version.

2) It would be nice if the "white skin bois" (non-zombified clones) wore the armor vest like in P2.

3) The original soviet zombies from P2 Savior beta looked nice. With the helmets on and their AKs slung on their backs, creepily walking towards you... Could you replicate that with P1 zombies?

4) Speaking of AKs, the "AK-74" in Paranoia, used by the terrorists and clones (and the player in the intro training) is actually an AKM. If I recall correctly, you get to use an AKM in P2 Savior. So you actually can use this model from P1 as is, without any changes.

So, would you be able to crate a pack which would transform P2 Savior into P1 style? Because, honestly, P1 had way more specific visual identity. P2 became kinda generic IMO.
