Sad to see this go, I was looking forward to some friendly competition to see how far us moders could push the HOi4 engine.

I completely forgot about this page. A post should be up in the next couple days explaining Pax Americana & hoi4. I've also made our Gitlab public for anyone who wants to take a look and download the last dev build(2 months old)

I'm glad you enjoy the mod but this "simple" task is by far not simple. If you want 1 party with all 8 ministers for all 210 countries that's 1680 minister names, pictures and traits to add. Is it simple now? Or if you want 2 or 3 parties per country times that by 2 or 3 and you see how much work it is.

Either way we aren't making a full party for every country. For minor nations they will just get their head of states, secondaries will get their main party and majors as many parties as we can research.

Oh sorry you said produce(it's 1am zzz), I'm guessing off the top of my head here. If it's not in a tech on the infantry tab its probably a bug and we'll fix it in 1.0

Well as of right now we're focusing on the middle East so all of the armies except Saudi Arabia, Iran wnd turkey have outdated armies that are from the base mod YAMDAM.

When v1.0 releases we'll have isreal, Egypt and a few other armies updated. After v1.0 the focus of the mod will switch to Europe.

Well it sounds like #1 is your issue but if youve done that and all the steps I mentioned above I have no idea what to tell you.

Try reinstalling hoi3? I don't know your the first person who we haven't been able to help.

Edit 2: Actually we also had this issue with our git respitory when we were setting it up. Madog had permission issues, maybe he can explain more.

So when you use the launcher.exe do you see Pax Americana 0.94? When you double check it and click play it loads vanilla?

1) Make sure the mod is installed in hoi3/tfh/mod not hoi3/mod
2) Make sure your vanilla game's check sum is GSKH
3) This mod doesnt work on MAC's nor do many large HOI3 mods
4) Try podcats exe, it allows the exe to use more ram. You can download it here Forum.paradoxplaza.com Just replace your old hoi3_tfh.exe
5) Do you have the 3 main expansions? Their finest hour, Semper FI & for the motherland?

Sorry to say but there is nothing we can do here. You either need to increase the resolution in game or buy a new monitor.

The techscreen is around 1400 * 700 pixels so if your monitor's resolution is smaller than that, nothing we can do here. You can get a cheap 1080p monitor for probablly less than $100 or even a 1440*900 monitor from kijiji or something for next to nothing.

You can't, this isn't EU4. HOI3 is a much older game.

The AI works fine and researches tech fine as long as it's not a player using AI to do research. The issue occurs when the player switches technology to AI control. Then the game crashes for an unkown reason

I have no idea but I've put a lot of effort to figure it out, to no prevail :/

Sorry, but for the foreseeable future switching tech to AI won't work but the AI without a player researches tech fine.

Right now madog is working on a lot of different stuff, alot with Europe. So whenever 1.0 does come out it will already have a a decent ammount of stuff that was scheduled to be released after 1.0.

You can already see some stuff I've made for after 1.0 like the start of the EU system and updating NATO.

He's focusing on Europe while i finish up the final touches on the middle East.

Your vanilla hoi3 should have a checksum of GSKH.If it isn't your base game is corrupted.

To install the mod place the Pax Americana folder and the Pax Americana.mod in hoi3/tfh/mod.

Then run launcher.exe and check mark Pax Americana and click run/play.

The base mod YAMDAM is based in 2003 and thus the majority of countries have 2003 politicians and etc.

We are currently developing the middle East and will move onto Europe in 1.0.

The mod is still in beta.

No idea what you mean but I have no plans to make any other editions of Pax. There will be a enforced modular story that leads to a ww3 scenario.

Ya this has been fixed in the dev build I posted on the paradox forums or you can wait until Sunday for the official build.

What's your vanilla checksum? It believe it should be GSKH.

Can you try using podcast's TFH.exe, its a modified client that allows the game to use more RAM. Forum.paradoxplaza.com

Also are you using Mac?

This mod and many other large HOI3 mods do not work on MAC. Please visit this thread for more info and work arounds

Do you have all the expansion's?
Make sure you are extracting the mod to hoi3/tfh/mod NOT hoi3/mod.
What's your checksum when you run Pax Americana?
Are you using a MAC PC?

Interesting, someone else is having the same issue. I wonder if it's MAC exclusive. Also what is the checksum when you run Pax Americana?

What do you mean by hoi3 app?

All you need to do is extract the Pax Americana folder and Pax Americana.mod to hearts of iron 3/tfh/mod.

Navigate back to the hearts of iron 3 folder and open the "Launcher.exe" that comes with hoi3. Then double click Pax Americana so there's a check box and click play/launch
