Hessam started learning game developing when he was 15. In 2013, when he was 16 years old, he made his first game, the prototype version of Lone Light. After that, he continued making free games and uplaod them on the websites like Gamejolt, Newgrounds, Kongregate and stores like Google Play. In 2014, he moved to Toronto to continue his education. In early 2016 he decided to work on Lone Light with the engine Constrcut 2.
