Pretty neat features that'd have been implemented. Though it bugs me is how awkward it looks when you reload the pistol when its empty and there is a pause before the slide is released, when you see the thumb clip into the model, only after the animation returns the model to the origin before the character releases the slide.

I'm sure that its just WIP but if it's never said then it may never get through. :D

The zombies appear pretty pale, is this intentional? it'd be a little odd looking but i guess thats how zombies looked in old horror flicks back then.

Glad you guys got your new and shiny model in, and by the looks of it some custom arms as well. While i sure you guys are already on it since its a WIP, but the gun seriously needs to be re-origined, defiantly lower and possibly to the right.

Needs some work, the ground looks bland and the props look out of place and kinda placed randomly in the middle of the room. The blue buoyant barrel does not fit what is supposed to be an electric room. If there are going to be props they should be more off to the side and be more industrial. Also putting some more decals and possibly some various other materials on the floor would do a lot for this map. Glad your making progress and i hope this mod goes far.

So i see your using Echo's animations, i wouldn't really say they are new models, just the original models, for the pistol with a new skin, and for the SMG just with the vertical grip removed, otherwise the models are the same, just with a different (better) set of animations.

I like that you guys are planning to have a large assortment of weapons in the mod but i think your time should be focused on polishing your existing arsenal, like the article on the valve developer wiki: players will prefer 5 well balanced, fun to use weapons, than 40, unbalanced, bland, poorly made weapons. As for the model looks pretty nice, WIP but its defiantly progress, a nice texture and a some decent animations and i will defiantly enjoy using it, good luck guys!

Yea i wanted to represent the mod as best as possible, and i didn't really think the nightvision was the most visually impressive aspect to show, which is why i didn't use it in the video, nor did i try to reload the m16 in broad sight since it's animations i assuming are just placeholders and i wouldn't want to give a poor impression on people that had never heard of this mod.

Well i know its Early WIP but it looks awkward with the wood twisting up below the front end of the clip and the model looks pretty Low poly especially in the trigger guard and the stock of the rifle.

I see the radar on the top right. Looks good but i'm sure its a placeholder for something else. I don't think it looks bad but it would probably be confusing for someone new to the game to have to use a radar that has weird shapes and lines and words all over instead of a more strait forward and simple Radar. The Beretta is amazing and you guys stun me every time you do a media release, keep up the good work!

Wasn't there already axe animations in a much older alpha video? i think i remember being axe, bat and pistol animations and although i think that if you changed them then it was for a good reason. However for the Axe i think i prefer the animations depicted in that dev build video that was uploaded a while back. An explanation would be nice but i'm still going to be playing this as soon as it comes out. Great work guys good luck!

Love your guys's work and i have a small idea that i'm not sure could be implemented easily but just to through an idea out there.

Name: Dragons breath

Points: 50

Description: A multi-purpose ammo upgrade for the shotgun, replaces the ordinary shotgun rounds with Dragon's breath fire shells. These shells should have a short range or drop. Does about 75% of the ordinary damage of the shotgun assuming all the pellets hit the target. The flames light up the area the player is standing in for a brief but noticeable period of time. Those caught within the flames take a moderate initial damage and take damage over time. Perhaps the flame should extinguish itself after about 5-10 seconds but damage the victim 15 or so damage per-second assuming that the average player class has 100 hp.\

Dev notes: Can only be equipped to a shotgun and cannot be used with any other ammunition upgrade. Should be tailored in a way so that it is only effective at about 768 Hammer units (or about 42 feet) either through flame dropping over distance or losing velocity. The flames should light up a broad area around the player so that the user and any teammates around him get a considerably bright light source (more than flares) but only for about 1/2 - 2 seconds. The initial damage applied to a victim should be less than a full on strike from ordinary ammo but the residual damage and the lighting effect should greatly compensate for this.

Just giving you my little idea :D

Glad you guys are thinking about the long run. Things are looking better and better and I hope you have a successful release. Your the only mod that has tried this hard to recreate HL2 in the rts genre and i would hate to see the hard work you've put into this antlion demo fade rapidly from everyone's interest. This overrun gamemode is sure to keep things interesting and i wish you the best of luck!

Looks good, maybe rotate the concrete material on that wall to the right of the road to fit the steepness of the hill. Also i think that if you just took out the Citadel in the background then this area would look perfectly normal. It appears to be in fully working condition just with the workers absent. If this wasn't your intention then try adding some signs of decay or neglect of the many years that passed since the last time this treatment plant from what it appears was under operation.
