I really like the sound of this mod and you have some interesting ideas.

I have to question the "15-minute rule" because, for me at least, this seems like almost no time at all... It feels like once I've built a basic base I'm already in the next era. I guess that we'll have to wait and see at the end of the day.

I'm having some problems with the mod. The installation instructions for a fresh install are a bit confusing (in the ReadMe file) since they are simply copies of the "update" instructions. I installed it following said instructions and all I could access was the Skirmish mode (it would automatically take me to that screen and any attempt to return to the main screen would simply exit the game). I then took some intuition and installed it again and now I can play Conquest campaign. There are many problems, however. None of the Federation ships have any weapons except Antimatter mines layers and pulse phasers (the only weapons you can get), whereas the other races have about 5 copies of each weapon (i.e. 5 Disrupter Is etc). No races have any hull subsystems, shields or engines available for purchase either. What on Earth have I done incorrectly?

Great vid showcasing the Covenant! The music is absolutely fantastic as well. I loved it when the Marathon was getting ripped to shreds just as the slow piano piece started up: what great timing!

If I had any criticisms it would be this one: are there any plans to create some nice FX for plasma torpedo impacts? I don't know if it's just the video quality but they do seem a little... underwhelming as it stands.

I'm trying to start up a LAN server for me and my brother to play on. I have created a dedicated server on my computer and I can join it fine if I input "localhost:4242" in the multiplayer bar. My brother types in the IPv4 address of my machine plus ":4242" and clicks OK. The connection either times out or just cycles forever. We've tried giving the game admin rights but that doesn't seem to work either. Anyone managed to get LAN to work yet?

I see some people posting that this game is basically the same as Mount&Blade with only a few minor differences. In its current state, I have to admit that I agree. Even the combat looks like an earlier iteration of M&B. What are the developers planning to do that will differentiate this game from M&B?

Generals 2 has been cancelled. EA are now going to release a free-to-play Command and Conquer set in the near future. The use of Frostbite 2 engine is nice I have to admit but there is a lot trepidation about the theoretical quality of a free-to-play game.

I see. I have to apologise as the description of the mod was unclear and I read a description of a picture of a base taken straight from SCII and from the sound of it, it seemed that you just wanted to plaigerise the game totally. Again I'm sorry.

So basically you are turning Starcraft I into Starcraft II because you can't be bothered to go out and support a great game by buying it and so have decided to turn a game you already have into a game you don't have? Isn't that illegal? Don't get me wrong I fully support modding. But so far all I see are pictures from the official Heart of the Storm teasers and from vanilla Starcraft II....

Yeah the standard Excelsior-type had flattened smooth edges but later in DS9 the USS Lakota (an Excelsior Refit variant) had the "extra elbow room" as Nathanius put it... I just had a quick look and it would seem that Generations was filmed before the DS9 episode (Paradise Lost), where the Lakota variant appears. It is interesting to note that throughout TNG the Excelsiors do not have those extra decks, but that a starship 70 years prior to it would look the same as a starship supposedly built decades afterwards.

Hey guys. I would like to congratulate you on everything that you are doing to keep the Star Trek game franchise on the straight and narrow! I have been tracking this game for almost as long as it was first announced and I have to say that you guys constantly surprise me with the relatively rapid progress for an extraordinarily complex game!

I have a few of questions that I would like to pose. Firstly, how are you guys going to manage ship damage in the game? Will it be similar to Bridge Commander in that anywhere a weapon hits, a portion of the ship's hull with erode away (as with beam weapons) or are you taking a different approach? Secondly, how will ship destruction be managed? In Bridge Commander, when ships were destroyed they had a massive explosion with some debris that floated around for a while and then disappated, or will it be a bit more canon, i.e. Ships will be abandoned or permanently disabled, or when ships are destroyed they don't always end in a massive explosion and the debris fields stay around for much longer, allowing for perhaps more exploration elements? Maybe the wrecks could be "salvaged" by privateers and Ferengi traders?

My final question: will there be a free-roam element? For example in Bridge Commander, if you closed the "quick battle" screen on your Commander then you could go anywhere you wanted. Or will you guys just be implementing a campaign?

Ah actually it says that there is a single player battle to play and not random map. Sorry, I misread it. Though I could swear that a previous post said that there would be random map in this new version?

You say that there is Single player random map included in the newest demo version, but I cannot play it. It says that it cannont find the modAI/Austria.dll or Prussia.dll. I run Windows 7. Anyone help?
