The concept of the Fist of Strom unit (the concept, not the actual unit model and how it looks) is an original creation of StormCraft Armies mod project on SC2. I don't think you didn't look that up on purpose, so I think, I'll officially grant you the blessing of SCA mod to use all the concepts and ideas we've used to flash out Stromgarde faction. Your project is amazing and it deserves all the creative input there is <3

Actually there is a Orc mission in campaign where you and Grom's Warsong clan fight against various human expeditions (Stromgarde, Gilneas, Kul Tiras)

You can play both multiplayer and single player as well as multiplayer with AI allies against AI enemies! Just search StormCraft Armies in the Arcade and have fun!

What about changing the Bloodmage hero for Humans to someone like a Kul'tiras Hydromancer that will have basically the same skills but different art. Flamestrike changed into Hydroimplosion - same AoE, same damage. Banish and Drain Mana can remain the same and Phoenix can be turned into the Greater Water Elemental with an armoured model that can revive like the Phoenix but from an energetic water blob rather than an Egg.
Just my two cents. I think that way you will be able to retain Bloodmage technically for balance and faction mechanic purposes, but avoid duplicate heroes for different factions.

Interesting! What about the new factions tho? Will they be playable in the campaign with their Honour Guard and such?
How to select the new factions? I'm playing on legion maps and when I select Human the town hall doesn't have the new factions to select.

Well, Roman style was decided for Stromgarde building. So we are trying to keep it consistent across all Stromgardian buildings. Glad you like our new models!

This subfaction is set on a Warcraft 2 -prior to Warcraft 3 era timeline and hence, no Kodos for them. Hellscream Vanguard will have many other interesting instruments of war at Tiers 2 and 3 to compensate.
That's the plan, actually ;) The three Grunt model variations shown in this article are the models for a single Subfaction. The models and skins for the second subfaction which is in the works now will have very distinctive apperances, to say the least.
If you look closely, you will notice that they still have the same number of armour pieces as Warcraft 3 grunts did, with the exception of 1 small extra plate piece of knee - protector. Their chest and pants are still bare and their main source of defense is still the lone shoulderguard and their weapon to parry and deflect incoming attacks.
