This game needs some mods to run more than 1600x900 resolution and 30 fps. Sadly noone seems to be interested still.
Map sic6, makes this unplayable. After years...
I'm having a issue, every time a map loads, game crashes. So I can't load a save or even proceed anymore.
Edit: There is a Survive in Catacombs Remod page on Moddb, try it out if anyone having the same problem.
Also original models included version is also on that page.

Keybindings are broken. Can't bind anything in settings. It's just empty.
Key binding menu just does not exist. (steam version)

On second map game gives error, as console says "Host_error:num_for_Edict:bad_point.
Maybe it is because, I'm using wrong source port to run - quakespasm spiked.
Also feels like there is no way to proceed on start of the 2nd map.

The mod was actually good, maps are cool and new weapon models are nice, it would be nice if maps actually have their own names because it was showing empty names in save, looked quite weird, but I enjoyed the mod...
But I couldn't finish it because of an error in 5th map (e1m5), once I press 2 switches where they're together on the same floor. Says and game disconnects:

I use lastest version of quakespasm spiked. I don't know what is the real problem with this. I just wanted to inform about this.
That was cool, I liked shuriken launcher weapon. But sad thing is lightning gun doesn't seem to work.

I'm sorry to hear that this mod won't be released on Steam, but I hope we can see a way to see to this released on Moddb at least, I'm sure there will be well paid attention to the game here as well.

Great mod, would be better if heap size changing wasn't necessary, however it is good to play.
Finally some more additional stuff that may take away boring sections of this chapter. Screenshot looks cool btw.
