Haha, yeah, that footage was probably chosen because it is was you see so often in movies. But rest assured if you were to pull off that move ingame it has no advantage, quite the opposite. It takes longer, you lose sight of the enemy and you can be easily hit in the back without chance to block.

In general with medium gear you should not have any problems. If you have to rely on expensive equipment rather than skill you should keep an eye on your bank balance if you don't want to end up broke.

Create a new character as usual. Then on the website open the character stats page and click the "Skip the fun" link. Once you skipped the fun you will immediately be level 30 and can respec that character anytime if you want to try other builds. You won't gain any experience though so this character can never retire to get heirloom points.

If you are not tough enough for the peasant experience you can always enjoy the mod with a STF (skip-the-fun) character ;).
