Hey Gizmotron, I was told that you know all about map editor limitations for Axis & Allies with mods. What is the maximum map size (beyond 640x640) that I may create for the purpose of multiplayer 4 vs 4 gameplay with or without some bots filling some player slots, before the game will become unstable and flip its cookies, please?

A friend of mine and I have been playing this in multiplayer against bots, and it is the funnest RTS we've played in a long time with the perfect blend of C&C, futurist equipment, and play style of Axis & Allies RTS.
There are some features I do not understand, such as: what is the pros and cons of the Commander infantry regiment for $70, the attack dog regiment, and the assault mechanized division to that of the AT mechanized, and what is the engineer built item the "campsite" used for, please?
Also, do you think it would benefit or ruin the gameplay if the supply depots were increased to 10 oil and ammo per building rather than 5? My friend becomes annoyed with trying to keep-up his ammo and oil numbers when the larger units require so much, but that might just be him, as we are still newbies to Axis & Allies gameplay a bit.
Oh, also, the United Republic faction is missing a mobile building model for the Strategic Bomber Command Truck, which appears in game for me as a red box.

The population increase is not too exciting, because one can do the same thing by installing the original rome at war mod over aoe2 the conquerors that has the userpatch/unofficial patch. What else is new in this version, please?

About 40 minutes to an hour into a skirmish or multiplayer match with AI, I get a crash to desktop with an error message saying to send in the log for improvements. Would you like the dump logs/crashed game logs to be PM or commented with links here?

I've been checking in on the progress on the modb at least once a month. I google search today "bf2 battlefield 1944 mod" and the first link displays "this page doesn't exist on moddb (or something like that), because of the name change to "battlegroup 1944".
I'm looking forwarding to giving the mod a try-out on multiplayer dedicated server setup of mine. Next time warn us about a name change or whistle or something 😄

Hello, I tried, but I get errors like "dedicated server is readonly, botzom is write protect, sv_cheats is write protected, sv_punkbuster is write protected..."
I tried removing the "readonly" checkmark from the properties of the whole gamefolder, but it keeps resetting itself. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

I find with the mix of high and medium settings, both instances get a very nice 40-60fps constantly, unless both players get into a running gun battles with tons of action, then the fps is at a steady 30-35 fps spiking back up to 50fps every now and then until the intense fighting is over.

(also I'm running two players per this GPU *multiseat software "ibik Aster") with a dedicated fh2/bf2 Lan server, I get 50-60 fps and if the fight gets heavy, 30-35 fps) mix of high and medium graphics.
If singleplayer/one GPU then it as a constant 60+fps
