There are 3 new events until now: Demands for the Guyanas and Suriname, they work very similar with the Indochina demand event, but instead of Japan demanding is Brazil, like the japanese event it have a 25% base chance, 50% if the target is on War and 75% if the target capitals is taken by hostile forces, the events work like a charm its realistic, since, if brazil went facist or commie, it would eventually try to take those 3 territories that make frontier with Brazil, from England, France and Netherlands. that can be good for brasil; you can now get all you want on south america without war the allies + the USA.

Brasil Realistic Mod for Hearts of Iron IV

Version Alpha Changes:

-Brazil have more resources (especially Iron, as it should be as historic research, brazil today is one of the world´s top iron ore explorer/exporter); brazil still have a LOT of less resources than USA, specially oil, this difference can be reduced a little bit after some build and focus on Petrobras drilling.

-Brazil now have proper names and .dds files of picture for each Airplane, note that most of Brasil planes back on the WW2 were from USA, re-painted and assign to our air force. I made a research on the planes Brasil used, this might not be 100% realistic on data terms, but the balance of gameplay wont change (the planes mechanics are the same), the same goes for the Armor (tanks).
-Brazil have new and proper idea focus (tank designer = Engesa, a dead company that made the Osorio, one of the best tanks of its time; ship designer = Grupo Odebrecht, famous for build submarine ports, industrial c a giant oil brazilian coorp, Vale S.A., one of the world´s top mining companies, Plane Designers = Embrear, Motorized = Avibras, Artillary = IMBEL, Infantry Equi = Taurus)

-Brazil have a hole new branch on its Focus Tree, at this moment its the Generic Tree with the add of the focus on the picture, but this is prb my final part on the mod, so after i finish adding some more focus on the tree i might release version alpha for download. Im not sure if im going to keep the hole generetic tree + the extra thou, this might unbalance the game a little bit, especially against minor powers.

plz how you save the .dds ? i try with 3 different programs this game .dds portrait files are on a size nothing will save them :(

Amigo! to tentando fazer um mod tbm pra passar o tempo; como voce salva o .dds dos portraits dos lideres? no meu photoshop eu instalei o plugin pra dds, mas quando eu vou salvar ele nao me deixa - diz que as dimensoes da foto tem que ser 'multiplos' ou algo assim de 2... mas se eu mudo o tamanho da imagem dai o jogo na vai curtir ne.. hehe como faz? me da uma luz :D

I got last version, i really like what you guys did with the provinces/cities pictures, very good job, the only thing i did not like is the counters with pictures, i like NATO official symbols better, also the counters need to be of the same color of the country, not all them blue, its confusing on battles... beside that congratz again...

Congratz for this mod mate, im a amatour modder mself, i use to make some models on 3dmax for CoH, some form Simcity 4, and a lot of custom materials for BFME2:RoWK, i was wandering how playable this mod is atm, i was thinking in do 1 of those myself, am also a amatour WW2 and Todays Conflicts resercher, i got some ideas.. it might help you guys not sure... the 1 thing that should change in my opinion is this terrorist-focus thing, maybe focus on this Syria, Lybia, Egypt stuff might be more interessing, since the war on terror was a lie/excuse of USA only... anyways, i wanna help if i can, is there a e-mail or somethng we could talk?

jeez... this mod is great! but how it will REPLACE and not ADD the factions???
its as easy to add as to replace :/ and plus i really want play USA X Japan skirmishers lol :D
