If you are talking about the sprite itself, its ripped from the old Aliens Online game from the 90's. I think it has been slightly edited and cleaned though.
If you are speaking conceptually, it was from the old tabletop Aliens RPG game. Later returned in Colonial Marines, I think.

Despite my excitement and sincere gratitude that GW is spicing things up a little now. I can't stand the endless waves on Facebook/Reddit/YouTube/Etc. Screaming and whining about "40K END TIMES!!111!!!"
Have you got it to work for the GoG version? I seem to get a General Error when trying to launch it. So I've had to stick with the 3.1Gundam Mod version for Classic HW2.
I just went ahead and got the GOG version for this mod. May it live forever.

If you don't mind me saying, there seems to be a lot of Battletech influence from what I can tell.
Does the campaign work with this mod? Other than that the graphical improvements with the GUI are really great.
Isn't putting both Battletech and Mechwarrior in the description redundant? As they are the same series?
I have been playing this mod since around the second full release or so a ways back. As a 40K fan whom has been playing the tabletop for 15 years, this mod is Relic quality. You guys are doing a great job. Emperor Bless.
