I know this is quite an old post, but just wanted to say thanks; worked a charm!
One thing i did have for those who may use this guide in the future, was my Mac didn't want to open iDMG as it was from an unknown developer.
To get around this simply hold the ctrl key then click the application. Now select Open from the menu and it will ignore the unknown developer stuff.

It's looking like the release won't be ready in 3 hours as the banner at the top says. I submitted the build a week ago but still waiting on Desura to authorise the files (they have a backlog of games to authorise).
Hopefully it won't be too long until the game is available :)
I'm leaving the last pre-alpha release up as a sort of demo. It's quite old but gives a good feel for the game. Then if people want to play the newer version with rolling releases they can support alpha :)
And yeah I agree the video is cut like Terraria and doesn't show anything more unique :( Fact is the more unique features aren't in yet as getting a stable sandbox world was the first step. Now the fun begins and i'm releasing alpha now so people can get into it right from the beginning. I want this game to have a great community which it's looking like it will :)
Thank mate :) I was expecting some but not to the extent they are. I don't see why people are so opposed to a new addition to the genre with new features.

There is a free version available, the old pre-alpha. An alpha is coming out that will be heavily discounted so look out for that. but yeah, free version here > Indiedb.com
