What Are These Games? Garry's Mod is a Sandbox-Game. Garry's Mod started as a mod to Half-Life 2, but now with a strong modding community it is much more, some call Gmod the definition of the Sandbox genre. StarMade is a block-based intergalactic space game simple but still complex (Minecraft in Space!), still in alpha but already popular.
