Great article. I am actually running a campaign at Indiegogo and I realized that spreading the word is the key to success. I think you need to build a community and complete at least partially the product that you want to deliver. In that way when you will ask for funding it's like saying "Hi there, I need some extra money to finish this spectacular project"
