SG-C sublevel 27/28

gionny Blog

Hi everybody out there ^^ Today I want to talk about the new SG-C map. It is quite the first time I try to create a map. I just jumped into developing with the Hammer editor. Getting based structure of a place/building/area isn’t that hard. I figured out that most of the hard work is to create all the details of a map. The little things nobody realizes directly. Small things like speakers, windows, outside buildings and things like that give life to a map.Creating the SG-C sublevel 28 and 27 I figured out what’s the difference between a map and a good map. Things like lights or even little details such as paper, node pads and so on… all contributes to a living map. Taking a look at the screens might give you a little impression how things keep growing.Adding a detail here and there ^^ Btw: I am still looking for some interested map creators ;) Till next time Bye
