Hello All,

We've got more images added to our Steam Greenlight, IndieDB, and IndieGoGo pages respectively. We're 42% of the way to the Top 100 on Steam Greenlight, and we've gained about ten new fans. Here is info on our new update on Steam Greenlight, which can be found here: Steamcommunity.com

In Game Development, there are always times when hiccups and problems can arrise. Unfortunately, this is one of those times! Although we are making some incredible headway over a short time span, I was mistaken on the time frame that we could release a proper follow up trailer. The build is quite stable, our framework is nearing completion, but bugs and life obligations have come up at a rather inconvenient time for this trailer. Hopefully though by next week we'll have something pretty crazy to show off, but for right now we're just polishing things off and fixing bugs.

Of course, we could open up the Alpha and let people in - but would you want to be upset or sore with us because somethings not working right? Of course not! It looks like our "moment of glory" with the 'Recent Submissions' cycle has ended, so our traffic is significantly lower. So what we're going to do is push back the release date from July 15th to August 15th, and allow an extensive Alpha to be conducted; this does a couple of things. First, it helps us find problems as well as refine the game's fun factor. Second, it helps us excite our fans with both a free game for over a month, and a reason for them to tell their friends.

Here are a couple examples of how far we've gotten with village development.

We've gotten an advanced day cycle and weather system in, but it's also the primary reason we didn't release a trailer for Friday. Unity 5.1.0f3 has caused a HUGE amount of problems very recently, from compiler errors, to scripts doing whatever they wanted entirely. We've litterally been dealing with these issues, updating our asset packs, and rebuilding assets for the better part of a full week. We're pretty close to finishing, but it will more then likely take us well into Monday afternoon to get everything packed up there.

To make up for my failed promise, I'm going to show off some concept art that will give you a better direction of where we're heading after we finish up the base framework. In order to have a truly stable platform to use, we're trying very hard to get the structure of ABD in full working order; after that point, we'll pretty much just be adding structures, technology, and stats. So we're on the final stretch here!

Thanks for reading! The next two weeks are going to be pretty powerful, and hopefully we can get some if not most of you in game! Be sure to tell your friends about ABD, we're going to need a lot more Yes votes! Right now we're holding steady at 41% of the way to the Top 100, with a 38% average Yes rating - so at least people like us!
