Hi MethaneDude, you could say some of the mechanics are very similar but other features differ very much from hypersonic x. What they definitely have in common is that both are from the awesome genre of futuristic racing games.

Actually, it is already possible to drive all available tracks backwards. Each of the two tracks you can vote on in the lobby is always forward or backwards at random, which is indicated by a small white icon with an arrow.
As for the original Wipeout tracks, it would be great to have them, but we would surely get into trouble if we used them - after all, they are intellectual property.
Additional tracks are in the works and will be released on a step-by-step basis.
