It would have to be a subtitle, since we already have a domain name for Freedom Planet, as well as Greenlight and Kickstarter pages that can't be renamed.

Thanks for the feedback! We actually do have a longer rail that you can shimmy across in the third stage, so perhaps we can assimilate this into the first stage as well. As for the roll attack, we've got a few ideas for it that we're looking into.

The shield system is something we've openly advertised, so we're not quite keen on removing it just yet, but we're probably going to remove the keystones from the game that robots drop when destroyed, such that shields can only be gained from crystals. We'll also see if we can add a little variation in the way that different characters use the various elements (i.e. gaining an elemental buff to their attacks rather than a shield).

I know how the whole cloning things feels. My project started off as a Sonic fangame, but has steadily been evolving into its own unique thing, and now we're completely indie. I wish you luck molding this project into something original!

Links are at the top right. Also, apologies in advance if you're from a culture that finds the thumbs-up to be offensive - We have no control over the still image that is used to represent the video.

I think I'll need more content to show off before I consider investing money into the Greenlight system. But it's definitely one of my first picks for a release platform!

It's on indefinite hiatus at the moment. Once I have nothing else going on, I'll probably remake it from scratch in a different engine, since the one I'm using isn't optimized for isometric RPGs.

Are we talking recently, or throughout our whole life? If it's the latter, then it's definitely AAA for me, but in recent times as I focus my spending elsewhere, I turn to indie games more often for a cheap yet awesome source of entertainment. Plus I feel good about supporting up-and-coming developers.

Not bad at all, from what I can tell from the video. There seems to be enough variety in each stage to keep things interesting, and the graphics are pleasant without being too distracting.

It's ironic that there's no Asian localization planned given the theme of the project, but, hey, it seems like you picked a solid set of languages to export to. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I haven't really seen anything in this project that couldn't be done with a Minecraft mod. I think if the author puts a little more effort into making this project stand apart from Minecraft, then it'll give him more space to try out different concepts. As it stands though, a lot of it is pretty much identical in terms of style and presentation - the logo even uses the same font. And, I mean, the name itself sounds strikingly similar to Minecraft.

I am impressed that you can make something like this in Game Maker, though.

Yeah, I like 3 the most since it's the least stereotypical of the three designs - though, may I suggest changing her pants color from pink to black? As for a name, how about Zara?
