Hiya sorry for my guest comment ^.^ I even forgot I had an account here, I don't like logging into places that don't have the secure login :p
No my steam version is fine, when I did the post I didn't read enough or look around at the background of your mods :) I can see now from your sr3 and other mods for sr4, not to mention the fact that in the install it says "steam/common" should have been the first clue ^.^
Thank you so much for improving the game they released, I mean who was on their dev side saying "lets turn the disable power into a cheat not a feature" morons...
but you have made it more challenging and I have to think twice before going into fights, I don't even have to fight to watch chaos breakout now either it feels more alive! ^.^ fixed what they ruined :)
Don't suppose you are going to be exporting sr3 weapons to sr4 anytime soon? with the same upgradeable "special perk" for each one?
Oh ALSO very happy that your mods make use of the code in a way that doesn't break none cheat saves, if I had played it with this from beginning to end I would have been on the edge of my seat all the way through hardcore mode ^.^
Just noticed your download is now missing?
Harvester driver 1: Hey bill are you seeing this?!
Harvester driver 2: Just shut up and ignore it! that's what we get paid for! damn these stupid 360 turning guns.... anyone ever heard of "UP?!"
Stealth, and emp? can it shoot at air too? do they carry personal toilets? those better be costly or long build time units ^.^
People don't want others blurting out honesty, so how about the whole thing just meet in the middle huh? implement it now or later, rough or not. It can still be in the to do list, when all other features are polished put up and rounded out right? :)
First off it's turn based, not my thing.
Second off, i'm VERY very happy that this title has NOT used the words "epic turn based" in their description. ^.^
That is a very good beginning, i hope everyone that enjoys turn based games will enjoy this :)
I'm glad the developers at linden labs aren't so busy managing second life that they slowly update this very affordable and tiny environmental game while showing off how they COULD make it too big and too amazing ^.^
Don't take my post as it sounds :)
All desura copies would definitely have a steam key, did you check your collections page on desura fully and refreshed the page multiple times?
Well this is nice, when using this page to download the latest version of anno domini Moddb.com
and clicking install using desura, it "seems like" it's still downloading the version already on desura, the changelog says 0.97 once installed. so i'm downloading it manually from the page instead ^.^
And yes 1.03 is for the patched v1.158 but it doesn't break or not work when installing warband from desura unpatched, but features are obviously missing and not working during gameplay. such as freelance i think.
I still find it amusing that you can look at this game, and then look at any of the new tycoon games and just say "did they run out of good developers?" Then compare it to all those random out of the woodwork games, like the farming simulators. Why limit things to that? games are to expand on everything, not to dumb down the universe to a simple "yes or no"
Transport tycoon will always be a monument to procedural generated vastness and complexity, interactivity... any other words you can think of that involve variety and infinity ^.^
voted 2 hours before close ^.^ that was lucky.
There was a suggestion that your team contact the team that has done anno domini mod team at taleworlds forum, and share experience and details and ideas on porting, since they already have it on warband. :)
Again it's happening across the whole of desura, developers are waiting for approval, and some just aren't getting through at all. There needs to be 3rd party places like moddb.com which is basically where desura is tied to anyway, so people are able to upload to there if it isn't approved sooner over desura.
Development program :)
It's the "grid" where lawfirms actually own (property) and IBM has a sim, and other big named companies, even the NYPD has a stake somewhere in SL, have no idea if that's out-sourcing/outreach or what for them. But in a game, stealing (looting ;)) doesn't result in a 100,000 dollar lawsuit or more ^.^
So no it's where creators go and create, and business's go and corrupt, and trolls go and troll, and jerks go to be (here comes the irony ^.^) "openly close minded" ^.^
Among a thousand other kinds of corps and people for various reasons going to SL to do just about all anyone does with real life, waste it away and make the system worse or better. There really is no right or wrong answer anywhere in all this.
Yes i wouldn't plan on waiting for desura people, they are a very frustrated lot right now and aren't handling everything properly. So hopefully the steam keys will get to us soon, so we can get the right version on steam ^.^
survivors!! planes! and space pods? space stations? ^.^ secure the planet for colonization, assimilate the aliens, research their corpses/loot make alien weaponary ^.^ oh the possibilities for content :)
Of course >.> it does say that on the taleworlds forums. The game hasn't been updated and never will, so the latest anno domini will always be compatible with the latest warband.
link above is moddb.com "advertises desura all over" version 1.03 of anno 1257 exe
As usual desura is hosting only 0.95, not even 0.97. Beyond me why the latest is not qued to desura upload yet. Either way just click download with desura while desura is open, and there you go hopefully ^.^
Desura are being annoying, moddb.com is right there with the file, and what do they keep doing?
version 1.03 as of 2nd december 2013
Why desura won't just grab that is beyond me.
It would if the camera view were capable of rotating and zooming up close, all the characters are 3d mesh on a layered map :)
It might be better to release on early access asap, and have the "default" release you plan to release, and a seperate release under "beta/patches" with npcs engine changes, pathing options. Since everyone has seen some news at some time about zomboid, a lot of people looked at it, so the first impression is gone when everyone saw where you were headed with it. Steam users and desura alike, love updates more than anything, so patching everything thats "mass well known" keeps up second impressions ^.^ Leaving space for bigger patches that change the engine or looks, and so on. Not that any changes would be sculpted or mesh based, so might as well just push forward with everything there is.
This same thing is happening in virtual worlds, people buying meshes or downloading them, then just changing the textures on the mesh and selling it in new indie games or selling it in their own virtual world store.
It really is self explanatory for someone who played terraria, MP is SP, there will be a host, and joiners, unless theres going to be a way to merge a list of players worlds (interesting but doubtful ^.^)
So yes of course THERE WILL BE a male MP and SP, since they are one in the same. MP content for this type of game is never kept seperate from SP.
Patient and enjoy whats already there :) Also store all your characters items in the wworld containers, save game, delete character (not world) and make a male, then load that same world. *for when it's released*
Honestly, it's all right here on the website and desura, look to your right, special edition, sountrack, extra goodies on mp release.
Obviously a steam key would be offered to people who buy it before its released officially on steam.
Didn't you see the desura article?!
It hasn't been made into the EXE version yet, the SVN version is still the latest on their forum.
I really love the OST track 9, it's like a mix between x3 terran conflict and it's combat music. How difficult would it be to make a remix of that to have a constant beat the same way it begins at 0:45seconds? it would make it the most unique track, which you could also use as combat music if you ever continue to evolve the combat interactions? :)
I thought the agreements were to finish the mod in their format, then switch it to exe format so everyone can be lazy and install it right away again. ^.^
Ok since the desura page is quiet and i love this game to bits i'm going to whine a little ^.^
I want to plant trees!
Whining over :p
Still loving the patches :)
I haven't had any crashing issues and i'm using an out of date ATI card with up to date AMD drivers ^.^ Only issues i've had with one moon planet is where it's underwater and theres no buildings or anything. Are you running everything with admin compatibility just in case it's an access issue?
