I'm just a voice actor in training and amateur coder that loves watching people play video games. I love to sing as well as write stories. I am currently working on an RPG Horror (using every tutorial in existence XD) based on a story I heard. I'm a friendly person, so don't be afraid to say "hi" ^u^ Have a nice day~ -Flare

I'm sorry for not attending to this sooner. I've just been away from indiedb for a while. In any case, I must say, the new update is very enjoyable in comparison to the already-enjoyable Alpha 2. The droplings don't fall through the world anymore and the ores are mineable. The wildlife doesn't get caught behind trees (lol) and they don't get stuck at the end of the map. All things considered, this is a major improvement in comparison to Alpha 1 and I am very much in love with this update.

As a side-question, what is the command that allows your main dwarf to use an item like a door or a bed? This was not explained in the tutorial and guessing buttons has failed to enlighten me. Also, do bones have a use in this update?

I don't think it was a "bad" decision, per-say. Sure there are bugs, but it's in its early stages of development and bugs should be expected. Now, if this was a story-based RPG or some other genera like that, then any small bug would make the game more or less unplayable, which is not the case here. In a sandbox game, bugs can be forgiven a lot easier than in a story-based game.

Cool. Also with the droplings, it didn't effect the gold-looking ore, although I couldn't find it in my inventory.

I really like this update. The bears and zwarves added a threat that the game needed, and the hunger added another objective to keep the player interested. Now, as for bugs, I found none initially, but after closing the game and continuing my save, the droplings behaved differently where instead of plopping on the ground, they would fall through the world. This did not happen pre-closing. There is also a bug with the loading screen where it will never stop loading, but that bug isn't too annoying nor does it distract from game play. The player can easily rid themselves of that bug by restarting the game, though it is a temporary fix. One more thing I noticed was while exploring the world. When I reached the right edge of the world, the wildlife had glitched themselves into the edge (I was in a mountain spawn if that makes a difference). There was also an instance on a different world where a bear glitched itself behind a tree on a single block (it was on a hill. The bear was chasing me and it got stuck going down because of a tree. It was about to kill me, so I didn't really care XD). Bugs aside, the game is much easier to play and more challenging at the same time. I'll inform you of any further bugs I happen to notice.

I like how this is evolving! Adding hunger should definitely improve the overall gaming experience!

The game looks fun! Also, I'd just like to ask, how did you manage to code the player character to snap to the grid that smoothly? I'm trying to make a game as well (using the same game making software as you) and I can't get my player character to snap to he grid smoothly. He'll snap to the same tile space he was standing on if I press the movement button too quickly.

Ah, ok. This makes sense now. And I can understand the troubles of coding AI for NPCs and the like, as I am also working on a game. I look forward to the next update!

After about an hour of playing this, I can safely say that this game is addicting. I love the soundtracks and the animations look great. There is something I'd like o point out, however. During game play, For some reason, I was unable to collect any materials. I was given a small amount of starting material, but beyond that I was unable to mine or gather anything. My levels increased, yes, but my inventory (Tab button, I figured out) never increased. This bug should be fixed soon, or I'm afraid his game will lose popularity quickly. I also noticed that the "wildlife" never appeared, nor did the zombie dwarves. I expected as much in low wildlife zones, but not medium (I can't say anything about high, as I did not find any regions with high wildlife or minerals)

At first glance, this reminds me of a "Minecraft Comes Alive" version of Terraria. It also looks like something Honeydew/Simon of the Yogscast might play. It seems fun and exciting and I look forward to playing it!

I'm getting my info from Markiplier's playthrough, but you need to constantly be checking on Foxy and Freddie. If you set it to 20/20/20/20, you should always close the right door before you check the camera. (so basically: right door close --> check Foxy --> check Freddie --> close camera --> open right door --> check lights --> repeat). You will not win if Foxy bangs on the door more than once.

Hey, I'm making a game for Mark as well, and I know how much he loved yours, so I was hoping you'd help me. The biggest problem I'm having right now is movement. I am able to make "Mark" move, but his movements either don't align with the grid or "snap" him to the same grid square if the movement key isn't pressed long enough. How did you manage to get around this? I'd appreciate your help a lot, Senpai. Have a nice day ^u^
