The backup is named [date]-savename.backup so just remove the name and .backup from the filename. It's a bit confusing sorry about that. You'll end up with something like sandbox2 or some other number.

Click the "backups" button and select the correct save base on the timestamp. Move the file to the parent directory and remove the timestamp and .backup extension from the filename.

Unless you've edited that save with the editor (it will make backups), probably not.

To clarify, the save editor automatically backups your old save every time you save using the editor. To recover your save, click the "backups" button, pick the correct file and rename it to just "sandbox4" or whatever it was called before, and move it to the parent directory.

Yeah the following items have issues: bedroll, flare, marine flare, storm lantern. Not really sure what the issue is and I don't have time to maintain this anymore though.

I'm not sure I undertand what you mean. If you've experiencing issue in a new save which you haven't edited, the problem is not in my editor.

Hi, you need to restart the game to see the changes, because the game loads all saves to memory on start.

Are you sure you extracted everything? Seems like the lib folder containing MaterialDesignThemes.Wpf.dll is missing. It needs to be in the same folder as the exe.

Send the contents of crash.txt (link to pastebin.com or similar). You don't need to use 1.76, it probably works with 1.77 as well.

pt_djefferson, Windows store version save files are named differently. You can check commit ebb5d1f where I deleted the (non working) UWP code. Never got it to work because I don't have UWP version. File names seemed pretty random so you pretty much have to try to load them all to see which are valid saves and which are not.

This doesn't work with windows store version.

Click backups button, find the right save and move it one folder up. Then remove the timestamp and file extension from the file name. So for example rename "2020-05-26 00.05.14-sandbox4.backup" -> "sandbox4". There's only 20 backups so if you have saved some other save 20 times your old backup has been deleted.

Sorry, I don't maintain this project anymore. I've moved to my next project :)

No idea what happens, but really doubt the game would crash. Even in case it does, click the backups button to open the folder with backups so you can restore working save.
