Just finished my first game of Dominions 4 and had an absolute blast. Everything that was great about Dominions 3 got either bigger, better or more refined. More nations, Spells, events and units. All of the nations got reworked with little intelligent changes. Better Interface. More Music. AI behavior of units in battle and of enemy pretenders is MUCH improved. Better randomized maps. Engine is more optimized to run on even lower hardware, alot of the sprites got redone to look better on higher resolutions. New "Disciple" gamemode, that lets people play in Teams with one player as the only god. New standard victory condition "Thrones of Ascension" that gives the game a new spin. The list goes on and on...

At first glance this might look like just an addon for Dom3, but the number of changes and additions is so massive- this truly is a new chapter in the Dominions Series. Absolutely worth the 25€ i spent for it. I just wish there was a physical release with a printed manual, but whatever.

Tried this on two pretty capable machines and even with the lowest setting, you'll get something like 15 to 20 FPS. The game could be good but it looks worse than minecraft and has bigger hardware requirements than Bioshock:Infinite. Hope this will get optimised a bit in the future.

ToME is hands down the best roguelike i have ever played. It is very complex but easy to get into. Even for newcomers to the genre. The graphics are simple but detailed (you can even see the equipment on your character). The interface is beautiful and the controls are intuitive. There's also a lot of well done music for every area and dungeon. To top it all off, the game has achievements that unlock new character classes and different game modes. I discovered this gem a few days ago and am totally blown away by the overall quality. Can't stop playing... if youre a fan of roguelikes or if you want to get into the genre, or if youre even vaguely interested in randomized open world games you should try this. Theres a high chance you won't be disappointed.

Too expensive for what it is. There are better roguelikes out there that cost less, or are free. Sorry, but for 7,99€ i expected better graphics, sound, controls and gameplay.

Diablo meets 4X in Space. Pretty Cool.

Despite the simple (and sometimes ugly graphics) and (in the later half of the game) massive micromanagement, i have to say that this is by far the best turn based strategy game i've played on the pc. Both in terms of content and multiplayer goodness. :)

This is one of the best indiegames i know. Its a little bit like supreme commander, alittle bit like tower defense, a little bit like a 4x- space game and everything fits nicely together to create something absolutely unique.

Been playing it for about two years now and it keeps getting better and bigger with every month. Two thumbs up!
