No problem at all :D and awesome that would be very much appreciated!
It's currently uploading there as we speak! We *just* got approved to sell it on there :D
Played the demo at various stages of development. All in all a very nice game well deserving of some success! Good luck with the kickstarter
Hi There,
First off thanks for voting us up on Greenlight - much appreciated.
If you try the game again, send us a screenshot of the error message and we'll see if it's anything that we can fix. Which integrated graphics do you have? We've tested on an Intel HD3000 and it works at lower resolutions etc so it's not necessarily just because your graphics is integrated.
Hope to hear back from you soon :D
Lol it might be for some people, but for 99.9999% of the population it's anything but easy ;)
Awesome, really good video - seeing as you're currently the only person to submit a video so far you're in the lead by default too ;)
Although Hyphen has a spinning stick in it, the gameplay differs quite a lot from that in Kuru Kuru Kururin. We have insta death for starters, no lives and health restoration and the focus is mainly on the difficulty. There's no messing around with storylines and cutesy characters, we've made this game to be a challenge. There are a lot of games with a spinning stick mechanic like this and all of them are actually based on an old japanese carnival game called Kururin, the idea of a spinning stick isn't exclusive to Kuru Kuru Kururin. That said if you did enjoy Kuru Kuru Kururin then Hyphen is definitely worth a download and play to see for yourself.
Yeah of course, you may as well make a bit of money from your video whilst you're at it! I will look forward to your submission :)
Thanks a lot! Really happy to hear you like it so far. You'll beat the levels you have just got to keep at it! :D
Thankyou :) We agree on the sound. We have a very talented guy doing the soundtrack called Andrew Lloyd and we couldn't be happier with what he's done for us. Yes, Hyphen is created for those who like a challenge (cool that you do, me too). We've tried to capture the old style of video game challenge and drag it kicking and screaming into an otherwise modern looking/sounding game that doesn't hold your hand all the way to the end. It starts off relatively simple just so you can get used to the controls and flow of gameplay but it soon ramps up and makes you work for your level progression!
Thanks - It's not an original concept on our part by any means as Hyphen (as well as a couple of similar games) is actually based on a very old Japanese carnival game but we loved the idea and decided put our own spin (no pun intended...) on it which has made for a pretty unique game :)
Thanks Matthias - the compliments are much appreciated!
