I am a Senior developer for the "Guard Duty" and "Operation: Black Mesa" mod teams. I joined Guard Duty in June of 2010 and OBM in July of 2011. My main focus and skill set lies with Level Design, though I also create world textures and 3D props as well. I have been Source mapping since 2006 and have been creating textures for nearly just as long. My skillset with 3D modeling has been gaining ground since May 2011. Level Design, and video games in general, are truly a great passion of mine. I am always striving to learn more and become the best artist I can be, so that one day I can achieve a career doing what I love.

The Application Guidelines thread on our forums can provide you with some information: Tripminestudios.com

Also, here is a rough description of available positions: Tripminestudios.com

1. We currently have open positions for character artists, Organic Artists, and general 3D environment/prop artists and an additional animator.
2. You need to be a bit more specific. That's a fairly vague question :P Although the guidelines may answer that question.
3. Depends on the task. If you can't contribute 8+ hours a week at the bare minimum then it's not for you.
4. Depends on the position.
5. Yes
6. Yes. You will not have to travel anywhere. All work and communication is done online.

Half life 1, blue shift, opposing force, decay, and Black Mesa (although it's rare in that game) all have this feature. You just need to be below 50 hp and friendly to initiate it.
So we will of course have it as well in some capacity, since it's a standard feature.

Possibly. The details have not all been finalized yet. Plus we don't want to spoil every little detail. We'd rather you find out by playing :P

Yes, it will be available on steam for purchase. Pricing has yet to be determined.

Using their assets without written and signed legal permission would be theft and coordinating a financial legal contract to exchange assets is very complicated. So just like every other asset the answer at this time is no.

We don't have any specific update planned yet. But we might show off some small stuff, like an update on my prop dev blog, in the next few weeks.

Character/npc art is something we are way behind on. At this time, don't except anything more than what the original game had to offer.

Not at this time

Probably not. That would be cool, but we just don't have the time.

yep. Guard Duty and Operation Black Mesa are the same game. Just different story campaigns. So impulse 101 gives all weapons: OBM + GD + Multiplayer.
Same thing goes for npcs :)

I don't see why we would remove any. But we'll try our best to keep as many in as possible.

It probably will look like a standard hl2 main menu. I merely meant there is not going to be anything special about it.

Yep, we are all very familiar with HL2 ;)
Currently we are using the hl2 model, just with improved textures. There's a possibility we might replace it with a custom one later, but it's mega low priority.

EvilGoodGuy @ Unreal Evolution (Beta) Announced

Epic! Unreal Gold is a gem that is overshadowed, unfortunately, by Unreal Tournament. It's a classic that every fps gamer needs to play.
I can't wait!

Nope. If someone wants to try and edit the models themselves or make completely new ones, they are free to do so and upload to the steam workshop. We are not associated with the BMS team, nor will we be touching any BMS stuff.

EvilGoodGuy @ Operation: Black Mesa

1) Yes
2) It will most likely be the same as in BMS - Default is like HL2, with a option in the menu to turn on always-sprint. Multiplayer will most likely be always-sprint.
3) No
4) Female scientists are planned. No female security guards are planned, and definitely no female HECU.
5) Maybe
6) Probably not

Yes. Hammer and all the traditional tools will be included with the game, as is standard with Source games.

MP5 was added a long time ago ;) It's the default weapon. The M4 is optional, via the options menu.
