Salvatore, The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks, Conan the Barbarian by Robert E. Howard, and The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, just to name a few. As a subscriber to Writer's Digest Magazine, he has taken several Novel and Short Stories Workshops and has a large collection of How To books on the craft of writing.
