ooh boy...
Are you using maverlous designer for the clothing??? or all modeling it by hand?
for now you can buy the side sword model on my sketchfab store Sketchfab.com
also a correction, brass is actually too soft and malleable, but still brittle. It's only slightly worse than bronze, but brass was relatively only just discovered (500 bc) compared to bronze making since 3500 bc.
also iron and steel were well on their way of becoming pretty good, and they were already outperforming their yellow alternatives in many ways.
actually some more research shows they did: here is a saxon helmet from the viking period. En.wikipedia.org
I don't think they would completely cover the helmet with brass though but use it as a contrast with darker metal. at leas i can't find any evidence of it.
They probably had bronze and iron back in the day, brass is too brittle for armor though. Gold plated helmets, if they existed would have been ceremonial.
Can you explain a bit how you make these models? maybe an making-of article?
Nicely done!
Damn, ship games are the real focus of indie games lately. Not complaining, ships are my favorite thing to make :)
Looks awesome, although it looks a bit creepy that the left hand is completely still...
Goes without saying :)
Yeah, with mods companies generally don't bother. But when you say you're a standalone game, you might get in trouble. If it's good they want to get money from it, if it's bad they are scared that it stains the brand.
nvm i see that you decided to not use the potc name for the new game
Wait how can you just use the PotC brand without permission??
Everything looks so pretty now!!

Can you please get me some references for your statement? I'm all about accuracy and stuff. But I don't go about opinions. All sources I have found on Dane axes state that Dane Axes include both M and L blades, this one being type M.
If you can prove to me with real historical sources that I'm in the wrong, i'll gladly retract my statement and not call this a Dane axe anymore.

Will the AT-RT be as fast an nimble as it is in the series? It always frustrates me that in the game these things are as slow as tanks, While they were designed as one of the fastest all terrain attack support vehicles...
As you can see, I'm already creating the assets ;)
wait, how can you make a perfect looking game look better???

I am Matthijs de Rijk! An Historical Reconstruction Artist from the Netherlands. I've always been driven by the urge to create and to bring to life. Build worlds of other times, lives that no one has ever experienced. It sparked my believe that creation, besides love, is one of the highest callings of humanity. This virtue, together with my passion for history, sparked my career in history reconstruction. I started rebuilding places that had long gone, reanimated people that had long turned back to dust. I wanted people to experience what had been. Not only to show, but also to teach something about themselves. This became my mission! I started in 2007 with blender, so with over 10 years of experience, I think I call my self fairly advanced with the program. Other programs like Substance Painter, Photoshop and Krita became part of my workflow through the years. And currently working a lot with Unreal Engine for to create amazing VR experiences.
