I'm just somebody from Bogotá-Colombia who loves playing games. But loves even more making them :D! Right now I'm working with Diana Esperanza Pacheco, working on "Poltergeist" n_n.

You must be referring to The Haunting: Starring Polterguy, which was a Genesis game. Although the theme is similar (and the isometric perspective), we do think its core mechanics are very different n_n. Poltergeist: A Pixelated Horror aims to be more of a puzzle game.

We guess it cannot be helped to be compared, since there are so few games that have this "You are the ghost" theme (about 5-6 in 25 years of games we think?).

We can only hope that people like this new take in this idea n_n.

Right now is TBD to be on the safe side :P. But we want to aim for an October release. We'll try to keep it that way n_n, but no hard promises for now ^_^.

Thanks a lot for your support :D. We will keep working on it as hard as we can to have the best game we can make n_n.

To be truly honest, we have no idea how reddit works, its kinda alien to us (I guess we'll have to learn about it someday). So I guess nobody has posted anything about our game there (at least not us). So go ahead if you want n_n. Anything to help us spread the word of our games is always welcome :).

Hello! Thanks n_n. Well, you are totally right! The Html5 method is not a very good one. For some odd reason we haven't been using the video features of IndieDB. We have just updated the news so it uses the IndieDB system(which happens to be really nice). It should work much better now, and actually works as a video. In fact, We'll be updating the rest of the news with the new videos hehe ^_^.

Thanks for the heads up, we will keep updating our game regularly n_n.

Hehe well, to be truly honest, we did not know of any game of this type before. As far as I know nether Diana nor I had a Genesis/Megadrive, so we had no idea of this tittle.

We of course felt that it had to be impossible if no one had not made a game with a theme like this before, so we searched for similar games like ours in theme... we have only found a game called "Ghost Master" for PC around 2003, a more recent one called "Haunt the House" for PS Vita, and of course "The Haunting: Starring Polterguy", which seems to be a very popular classic game :).

Although they all have thematic similarities (of course, you haunt people in all of them :P). We do have different styles when executing the theme. Our game as for now seems lot more "puzzle like". The other ones seem to focus more on action, or strategy in the case of Ghost Master.

We did play all of them though (we need to see the competition even if its old xD), and Polterguy is actually a really fun game, loving all of those effects you can make in the house :D.
