The mod is being worked on, Syrian and Yemeni civil wars are the core of this work.

The negotiations for the merge were a success and the merge has already happened, We will use the MD4 redone modern map, tech tree, equipment and unit types with additions from MW. We'll first, together, work on finishing the 2017 scenario and release it, and then port over all the MW-mod's work on the 2000 scenario and together, finish it. For politics and other features, we'll use the best of MD4, MW, and another merged project, YAMDaM II, and of course new additions we come up with together. The MW re-done interface will be worked on further to add even more improvements to the design.

So the first version will have one start: 2017 - with an strong focus on the current Syria and Iraq conflict. The final version will have two starts: 2000 and 2017.

I would like first to thank all of you for pointing out the bugs and errors we made throughout the few past days, we have worked on fixing the issues as soon as we could.
There is However, I potential merge between us and another modern day mod (we won't reveal its identity just yet) and perhaps I could confirm if the merge is going to happens or not tomorrow hopefully.

In case negotiations for a merge fail,We'll start working on more meaningful patches, and thus expect at least a major patch every 3 days.
Focus will be shifted now on fixing map related bugs, in addition to polishing the tech tree which will lead eventually into adding the OOBs we've been working on recently.

However, in case of a merge don't expect an update for this mod anytime soon (at least, until the new mod is released).

As to everyone who left a negative comment over here, I say you look at the statistics first, as for MD, they have the actual manpower while we didn't and thus why we released the mod - and I would like to thank everyone who helped with the mod by the way- and so leave these cancerous, non-constructive comments out of here.
If you are willing or interested in helping with the mod, just send me a PM and we could eventually finish this mod faster.

I do need help with focus trees, if you're interested you could join us and make a tree for secondary powers such as Turkey for example

Right now, we have a generic, Russian and British focus tree
top priority goes to the US of course right now.

However, if someone designs a focus tree for a secondary/interesting country (example : Israel, Yugo ... etc) then I'll be able to add it

Apparently one of the major devs have went AFK for a long time, and so I'm the only one working on the mod right now. the release might be either post poned or I'll just upload a half finished mod on the Steam workshop unless I receive some help, right now we really need people to work on events and focus trees. and so if anyone is interested please send me a PM or join our discord and send me a PM over there (which I guess is much better)
