I remember playing a test version of Berimbau a while ago and I can vouch that the game play is even better than the awesome visuals.

That is something they might be working on to make it a proper fps experience!

I can really relate to your feelings about this and I can say that everyone will feel how you are feeling at some time or another. To be a person with a goal IS to look up to others an say "I wish I could do that". Every person who is truly an artist wants to create something: a painter will look at a canvas and want it to be made beautiful, a musician will find a silence and hope to fill it so that people can enjoy it and a poet will see something and seek to communicate his feelings.

On a very personal way I can relate to this also because remember the idea of great artist is both relative and subjective. I forget how I found your profile but the first thing I thought is "Wow this guy is increadable! I cant believe someone can do this with basically no better tools than me". So the same way that when you are discouraged when your "skill always rings the bell and tells me "Uh, no, sorry!"" just remember how skilled you actually are and how much it has effected other people.

I will leave you with a very wise saying, it is about writers but applies to you and your art as well .

If you have trouble with ladders the most common problem is having one of the ladder entities in contact with brushes or models.

Maybe this should have multiple levels of zoom (most way more magnified ) so that it does not become pointless after getting a rifle with a proper scope.

I have that exact gun, the hopper is offset so there is a small iron sight. Personally I don't use it.

Great map, it needs more cover and needs to be way bigger. Just a tip, texture outside the walls with black so that the camera does not have that no texture bug when you zoom out.

You guys should at least release what you have like the maps. I would love to just run around that in hl2dm.
