This is a great free game!!!!! Graphics are nice!!!!!! DirectX 10 at its best!!!! Since I have a Nvidia Graphics card, there is some PhysX and the effects are great!! The gameplay is good, reminds of Battlefield. The only problem I have with this game is that the optimization is horrible!!! Here are my system specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
MSI Nvidia Geforce GT 630 2gb GDDR3 (Overclocked to 900mhz and memory clock overclocked to 650mhz)
AMD Athlon II X2 240 2.8ghz processor
4gb DDR2 800mhz ram
Nforce 430
Geforce 6150se integrated graphics

I play this game on 1280x720 , 2xMSAA , Ultra textures, medium settings , and every advanced feature turned "on" ,& my Nvidia Control Panel settings are on max quality , and I am only getting 18-25fps. I played Unreal Tournament 3 which uses the exact same engine, I played the game maxed out on 1280x720 with 4xMSAA and I was getting 30-45fps on average. So in my opinion this game is horribly optimized. I do realize
at the time on this review , the Multiplayer Open Beta was the latest version. Hopefully the developers can get this game better optimized. Overall, game is great just needs to be much better optimized!!!!!!

sorry for late replay, but go ahead. I allow anyone to use my AI Files in their mod as long as they give me credit, & I you don't need to delete the ESAI folder it should work with it.

Both are my parents are Salvadorean. My dad was only 5 years old when this short war started. He remembered looking outside his window in the district he lived called "Ciudad Delgado" in San Salvador, and it was the early morning and he remembers a couple bombers flying over San Salvador headed to Honduras.

My system is :
Windows 7 64-Bit Home Premium

AMD Athlon II X2 240 Processor (Overclocked to 3.2ghz)
4gb DDR2 800mhz Ram
Nforce 430 motherboard

What settings do you suppose my system will run Project Reality 2??????

try to start the mod from the "custom games" section in the community section on the main menu, you seem to be doing everything right, you should see all maps, and oh you need to have BF2 patched to 1.5

These AI files automatically spawn 32 bots on the map, but if you wish to have more or less bots, go to the file named "AIDefault" and go to the line that say has "aiSettings.setMaxNBots" and change the value next to it to the number of your liking, this value determines how many AI to spawn. Also go to the line "aiSettings.setInformationGridDimension" and change the value to the value of the other line you modified, so the AI will be placed properly.

Dr.Eviltag - - 315 comments @ MOHW max settings

Well the Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 TI can still max out any game, but not at 1920x1080 resolution while maintaining 20+fps. You can max out the game, along with your Nvidia Control Panel settings set to Highest Quality, with no Anti-aliasing, at 1280x720 resolution. You can even max out Crysis 3 at 1280x720 with no Anti-aliasing except enabling FXAA since FXAA only drops fps by 1 or 2 frames. So you can still max out any game, but at 1280x720 and with FXAA Anti-aliasing.

Also reason why I recommend is because I got an MSI manufactured Nvidia Geforce GT 630 2gb GDDR3 myself. I made lots of videos showing the power of the GT 630 on my youtube channel.

Actually The GT 630 actually outperforms the HD 6670 but just a bit, and also the GT 630 brings PhysX.

Also it depends,I am pretty sure you are trying to buy a low-end card until you save enough for a mid to high end video card, but the GT 610 is just too underpowered for modern gaming even though it still brings DirectX 11, Cuda & PhysX from Nvidia, while the GT 630 on the other hand promises to bring "entry level gaming", and it does while still providing those technologies. I recommend you get any model of the GT 630 so you will be able to save more money for a better high-end card since you won't get as frustrated with the GT 630 not being able to play games at "medium to high" settings & resolution while maintaining "25-40fps"

If you can invest another 25$ dollars, I recommend getting the Nvidia Geforce GT 630 1gb GDDR5 from EVGA:

Amazon.com

Or well if you need more memory, get the 2gb version, but it is GDDR3 memory, so the performance will be less than the GDDR5 version but if the game requires more than 1gb of video memory, then the 1gb version will lag but the 2gb version will still not lag, but if the games you are playing require less than 1gb of video memory, than get the GDDR5 version:

Here is the GDDR3 2gb version from Asus:
Amazon.com

Or here is the GDDR3 4gb version from MSI:

Well these AI files are the same ones that are in the latest release of my mod. So the improvements I made are that the AI use teamwork and work is their squads more often & the AI are also more aggressive and won't ignore you.

This mod is supposed to keep the Vanilla taste of BF2, and there is a lot of new content, like the new textures, new sounds, challenging AI, lots of maps, 64-player AI battles, just look at the two youtube videos of this mod I made to see the changes I made.

First you download the core files:

Moddb.com

Then with the core files you put the folder into your BF2 "Mods" folder

Then get the patch :

Moddb.com

Extract that into the main folder of the mod, and replace any files it says it needs to replace

then get both parts of the levels:

Moddb.com

Moddb.com

Then extract those folders to the main mod folder/

And there you go. Enjoy : )

i will recommend to leave the level on what is default in the Ai files because i already modified them to be their best, so i recommend you leave the skill level alone.
