they are purchasable but not sure what race stations sell them. You do have a chance of random encountering them as npc but rare. I usually use cheats to spawn me one for use.

same here, probably because Microsoft saw halo as their main game and didn't want to mess with it. Personally i wish they expanded the halo universe also, that's why i loved halos wars. Have to hand it to bungie, do think halo would of made alot better rts than fps.

Sadly i have to agree, was really looking forward to this mod but seems either the creator gave up on it or dropped off the earth.

Sad day indeed when great mods die.

Thats Awesome, never knew that, so that means its already available in game. Just hope we don't have the hit box issue with the infinity, kind suck if they all blew up when undocking or the fighters decided to undock too soon and all eneded up blowing up before the charons finish undocking.

They should be AP compatible, been flying them in my AP. Do you have the X-universe plugin manager? if not you should get it and use it to add them in game. If you do, maybe you aren't clicking the manager and going play AP with it instead of the normal X3 launcher.

Only why i know how to quickly fit 100 identical ships is a chat mode i use that lets me close ships. other than that guess you have to do it manually for each ship.

Drakenor @ UNSC Mammoth

Think its perfect size, seems right since the Mammoth had 3 levels tall.

And to everyone's argument to it wasn't built before halo 4. Just remember, by the books, the UNSC had Hornets since before first contact with the covenant. And all the halo games are basically smash and grab moments. Not once in any halo game, besides halo 4, were they able to propare before a major conflict. Halo 1,2, and 3 all took place with "this is what we got lying around" settings, so for all we know, all these units being added to this mod have been around for a very long time.

Be nice if the mammoth had a like 2 chain guns for small arms protection, but it being able to make units, and have a long range gun, it is more suited to be a forward mobile command base and be protected by other units.

Drakenor @ UNSC Combat Cyclops

DaViperDragon is right. If you read the first halo book, they mention, the cyclops armor was suppose to be a new standard power armor. But it needed massive power and was a bit clumsy to use. Than the spartan project side railed it before it was ever modified for combat since the Mjolnir Power Armor was far superior, but required special training and augmentation.

But the cyclops power armor was even mentioned as being used to train the Spartans after they where augmented. So it would be too far of a stretch for as the war got longer and the UNSC tech progressed that they would of solved the power and movement issues and revisit the idea of using the cyclops for combat. at least before they learned to mass produce Spartans that is. Because before that is was used for heavy lifting, construction, and field repair work.

Personally like the idea of the combat cyclops, just hope they don't op it or change it to not fit with typical UNSC design and making unbalanced.

The prowlers did have a cloaking system, but basically the same stealth system the united states b-2 bombers have, its not actually a system, but rather a coating that asorbs radar and other detection methods and masks it thrust and power systems from detection from enemy ships.

The unsc tart-cart has an active system that adjusts the outer skin to "camouflage" it from targets. but it was still esencially had a passive stealth system.

Halo.wikia.com

Halo.wikia.com

The only unsc ship as far as i can find that had an "active" stealth system, is the ONI PRO-49776 , which was a specially built ONI ship of unknown classification. Was thinking of this as the stealth system you where talking about. Becasue any other stealth system would constantly be on and un able to activate.

Halo.wikia.com

But don't get me wrong, would love to see these ships in game and have them actually be able to hide. My only concern is how would it work and be balanced in game, since x3 really wasn't built with any stealth system or ai interactions for "stealth" targets and detection. Maybe making the Prowler class ships not read on radar and only able to LOS them, and making missiles unable to lock on to them, do in part to the stealth coating.

Know this is long, just my thoughts, i am a mixed fan, want the game to be lore correct, but still want to see some bad-*** stuff in game. But hell that's the halo universe, they kept changing it as the games progressed, so why shouldn't we?

be nice to see a clocking device usable by the UNSC tart cart and Port Stanley, but the ONI prowlers never had a clocking device, but still be cool so see them use one.

But my only concern is most mods utilize whats already in game, since there is no cloaking device like item (as far as i know at least), could it actually be implemented and used?

Looks awesome, cant wait to take this baby for a spin one its finished. Nothing like flying a giant fleet base that brings death to your enemies.

Drakenor @ H4 charon undocking

This will be so op in fleet engagements, especially since infinity will carry about 100 fighters right? But i was wondering, will the smaller ships that can deploy from infinity be able to have fighters or would the fact that they are really compact frigates mean it wasn't added to save on space for them to fit in infinity?

Drakenor @ broadswordWIP

nice model, really cant wait to see this in game. and for the ones that are complaining about looks, take in mind it is a late war production craft in the halo universe, and its looks is probably attributed to the reverse engineering of covenant technology used in its design and construction. It does seem to have a slight covenant look too it and still be UNSC looking.

Awesome mob so far, love the ships in x3. They all work fine and are just amazing looking. The only ship i have issues with is the covenant Seraph. Cant fly it first person, the bubble on the nose blocks all view, but it does fly nice.

Looking forward to see some new ships released and really looking forward for the guns also.

Just got to say keep up the awesome work, and making all us x3/halo fans extremely happy. :)
