I found it very interesting - thanks!
I tried implementing V8 into a project I was working on before realising it was limited to Windows (at the time).
Will you be doing more of these technical updates? I like to see how other projects handle problems they encounter
hey, he owns the game so its not like they're losing out
I wanted to like this game, it has great graphics and good media releases. However I found the gameplay really un-interesting due to the extremely short, repetitive rounds and the over-complicated . I don't hate it, I just hope that future game modes are made more varied. Perhaps a tutorial should have been made aswell, its a very steep learning curve as you enter the game, especially a game already in progress because it takes a lot of rounds to go though all of the hints which display before spawning. All of those hints are extremely helpful but they weren't delivered to new players in the most effective way. The vision modes (thermal, movement) did look good in screenshots, but they don't make the game more fun. At the end of the day, thats the point in a game.
Lua has a really stupid syntax, JavaScript is much more intuitive to a C++ programmer.
More people would look at the mod if you kept this ModDB page updated, but having an english website is good for people getting to your site from Google.
Both is probably better.
The mod looks quite good, however the video is let down by not using the demo smoother and using windows movie maker effects.
