I could do that, sure. It just concerns me that there would be other game breaking errors later on when I encountered one so early, and I thought it was probably important to address. :)

Seems clever, but I unfortunately have the same problem with Epiplon where the final tutorial stage is bugged to the point of being unable to finish, allowing me to walk through walls with some invisible barriers, the guards glitching around, and so forth.

Alright, here's my impressions based on the demo. As a straight girl, this probably isn't made with me in mind as the audience, but I still enjoyed it. The writing was surprisingly funny and solid, though it seems like the story rushes over a lot of things, and the art is largely nice though it looks like some characters have cleaner lines on their portraits than others. On the mechanics side of things, I'm not a fan of having to click around to open the inventory (I prefer having it available from the top or bottom of the screen in a point and click, and it seems like there would have been room for it here) and the movement is a little slow. I felt like the demo was interesting, but it's VERY short, and that both a) doesn't give me much of an idea as to what the rest of the game will be like and b) makes me worry that the game itself will be short as well. It looks like simple, fun, cute space opera comedy, but if it were me, I would have had the demo showcase a bit more gameplay so I had a better idea of what to expect in the full version.

While I understand that a lower price might make it an easier purchase for some people, I don't feel like a game's development team size should dictate its price. I don't understand that logic. A game's price should be determined by both its quality and the time and effort put into it... and arguably if this game IS only done by one person, that represents a MASSIVE amount of time spent drawing, coding, writing, bug testing, etc.

I would argue that with a demo, people have every opportunity to try it, and the developer is under no obligation to cater to the comfort zones of a demographic that is already catered to by 95% of the rest of the entertainment media.

This looks a LOT like free flash game SeppuKuties.

Seems promising, though I wish there was an actual story synopsis to make me know what I was getting into. :) Too vague at the moment. If every character has such a significant part to play in the plot, it would be nice if I knew what the plot was.

Thanks so much guys! Great to see developers care so much about their work and issuing such speedy fixes. :) Really enjoying the game so far.

I was enjoying this, but unfortunately the game keeps locking up on me after I make my first move in Camp Chromium. :( I select a counselor, take my turn, and then the game "freezes" upon spawning another camper, with the cursor stuck as a stopwatch, and nothing else happens. I can still access the menu to exit and restart the level, but it happens every single time. I'm running Windows 7 pro.

I've bought this game and no matter how many times I download and install it, the game fails to run. It says the installer isn't valid. I'm on Window's 7.

I like the concept and the presentation, but thus far the quests seem frustratingly convoluted to perform mundane tasks. For instance: at the start of the game, you're supposed to go look at something in a cabbage patch. But the gate to the cabbage patch is locked. So you ask your father, and he tells you to search the house. So you search the house (ALL. OF. THE. HOUSE.) and you don't find it, and after you've looked at everything, the game tells you to ask around outside. So you find a guy who has your key, but you have to go get something before he can give it to you. So you go to where the item he wants is, but the chest its in is locked and you need to find something to pry it open. And so on. And so forth. And this is all while that short ten second guitar piece keeps looping over and over in the background. And you can't move after faster than your slow walk. And this is within the first five minutes of gameplay.

It's pretty clear there's been a ton of work put into this game, and I'm interested in the story, but I'm already frustrated by the way the game seems to want to drag everything out, and I'm dreading the notion of having to do this all over again for every task. If you start your game out by forcing your player to go back and forth endlessly performing fetch-quests with multiple unnecessary steps, you're not exactly setting a tone that says this game has a lot of adventure to be had. I'll have to play some more of it later, but I wanted to offer my two cents.

From what I hear, this is sort of game-lite in terms of player interactivity. I don't NORMALLY have a big problem with that, but it would be nice if this game came with a demo so I could try it and see if it was to my tastes. It sounds interesting, but at that price, twenty bucks is steep for a "maybe".

For what it's worth, the full game is essentially the same gameplay, but with different creatures throughout, and I think I'd almost rather classify it as a puzzle game since the way to proceed is by figuring out how each creature lives and how to manipulate it into dying so you can progress. I actually like that approach to the gameplay, but I think it's a very polarizing premise.

Hi Hugo! Thanks for taking the time to listen to my complaints, and I'm glad they at least came across as constructive. I actually figured out pretty quickly that you could "dash" with the spacebar, and it just seemed to me that certain enemies were almost impossible to outrun, especially since if they grab you you can't dash at all. Maybe if the bubbles weren't so random or the screen weren't so small and easily cluttered with enemies who take up so much space. However, I appreciate all the hard work you've put into this, and I will most certainly give it another try.

Again, I cannot reiterate enough how compelling and creepy a concept this was, but it's definitely a challenge, and worth the three dollars I spent on it for the sheer creativity alone, which is something you don't see a lot of these days. And to be frank, as a game reviewer, while I may not be able to create and program games like developers such as yourself do, I can at least appreciate all the work that goes into them and how difficult it can be to make it all work together. Can't wait to see more from you!

I can't say I'm sorry I bought it, but I think the design of the controls and the decision not to allow the player to pick up at whatever wave they last quit on, forcing them to play the game in one sitting, seriously limits the appeal. Though the setting and mood are fantastically intriguing and unsettling, ultimately I found the movement of the frog too sluggish to really make the experience as fluid as it needed to be. Bumping the frogs around to try to get them to get bubbles of their own is ridiculous, since they always turn towards you and will miss an air bubble by a fraction rather than going after it themselves. Alright, so frogs aren't the fastest swimmers, but considering the tiny space you have, and how big and numerous the enemies can be, it feels like the deck is stacked against you in ways that don't make for a satisfying challenge... just a frustrating one.

I enjoyed figuring out how to defeat each enemy, and I really wanted to know what was going on as things began to evolve and change, but I finally had to ragequit on a stage involving the headless jellyfish moose because it's too frustrating to try to get one of the random bubbles to save yourself if you get caught. Since that particular stage was fairly far into the game, and I can't pick up where I left off, I honestly don't know when I'm going to go back to it, if ever. You have a lot of great ideas and a fantastic sense of style and atmosphere, but some serious user-unfriendliness in the mechanics REALLY earns this one the label of "not for everyone... even those who want it to be".
