Yes! :D It is!

Its still moving along. It not going fast by any means, and as I make changes I tend to add more changes to the list of needed alterations. Also some modeling will need to be done for this next release, which I will showcase them as it reaches points for showing off.

Also this new version plays a lot differently than the past few versions, so expect things to be much more intense, but still maintain the same pace. (I know, crazy right?)

Lol, the first few mission are definitely a step up from what they use to be. I am actually working on making the last few missions similar. Mission 13 is a dousey BTW.

On the shipyard mission, I HIGHLY suggest pausing the game as it begins redirecting any launched ships toward the shipyard. Also, you might consider moving the mothership toward the shipyard as well so the distance from production point to battle zone is lower.

Advanced mod was the original mod to add a "Harvest Control Module" back in 2003 or 2004 (cant remember) complex got it from me ;)... I have bummed a lot of models though...

I have removed the defense cruiser model possibility, as it is a model from FX mod.

On a side note, I may just try my hand at creating a new cruiser from scratch just to fill this role.

Last time I looked at FX, they were still using the old carrier design, although, since this model is an FX creation, I will probably make a from scratch model instead.

I was actually considering the idea of making it a "Heavy Cruiser". It would deal less damage than a Battlecruiser, move just a little faster, while having a lower turn rate. It would also have about the same amount of hit points.

This is brought on by the fact that its obvious weapon points are not very bulky or impressive in size, but its massive amount of armor is blatantly apparent.

But I'm not sure. I will have to figure it out as I go, especially after repairing the model/hod.

You might think about putting these different backgrounds on a random pick. So each time you open the game is has a chance to be red/red, red/green, red/orange, or green/green.

The only real differences are the Shader system (very subtle) and the engine glow coming off of the Destroyer to the top right. Very sexy though, I like :D.

lol, while I have redone the missiles in the mod to make them fit there firing platforms a bit better. I haven't really gone so far as to make stuff so different between each faction. I generally try to stay one way more than the other, but if something will work out somewhere better than the other choices, I just tend to make it happen.

Lol, I was gonna jack the PTV Energy Cannons for Long range siege cannons. Also thinking of adding a Ion cannon version.

The missile points your talking about... lol I found those a long time ago, they may have got that idea from me. Also the cluster missile model is a little smaller than a regular torpedo, and that fits perfectly. ;)

I saw that Complex:E has a cruiser with opening missile tubes, which are awesome. I may or may not use them. Lots of editing to make that happen, and this mod needs a make over as is.

This is actually not designed to use an upgrade system. Its purpose is pretty simple: annilate corvettes.

While flak is most effective against fighters being as to how they have little to no armor, and manuver so quickly. Pulsars are best against corvettes due to there rapid fire, armor penetrating beam. So the flak frigate is an effective anti-fighter frigate, and this is best used against corvettes.

As Stuart said, I am currently otherwise pre-occupied. I have fiddled around and made a few new items and fixed a few bug, but in general, progress is practically none existant. I may continue working on it in the fall, off and on, but am aiming to start some professional level game development. So, the thing to remember is that the mods not forgotten, and progress will continue.

Depends on what unit cap your playing on. If its low or even medium, I think, you cant field a battleship. You have to run it with large or unlimited unit caps.

That is most unfortunate, I haven't gone into multiplayer in a long time, and as such, haven't made sure multiplayer is supported by the mod. I don't know why it wouldn't work, you could try using the .big version.

Well honestly I was thinking more along the lines of making the damage done to the dreadnought lower, (instead of 90% damage, like 75%) Also need to rebalance the reinforcement fleet stuff. (i.e. mission 13) But I agree, the projenitor ships do need a bit more armor.

As for the ADW on mission 15, that has been removed, and replaced with weaponized planet killers, which will destroy Sajuuk given the opportunity.

The front side weapon (missile pod, left) is a buildable heavy PDW point.
The middle side weapon (Missile rack with turret, on gray armor) is a buildable heavy anti-ship location.
The sensor slot battle suite that is on the top back of the carrier is a buildable weapon aswell.
The only weapons that are vanilla on this is the 4 barreled Heavy Missile tubes on the side located middle top, and the Point defense guns. So the possible deployment types vary, and it can build fighters, corvettes, and frigates. (P.S. all armaments are mirrored on other side)

So, general information is this: Fielding one of these things can be expensive, but they can bring the fight to anything, anywhere, and use the same unit cap as a normal carrier instead of a new scaled down unit cap. Making it that much more valuable. They are also very likely to be seen in the new campaign... It also has resourcing abilities.

Well, I have acquired the "light carrier" model from the complex team, and have made it a "battle carrier" that is available to be built by Vaygr players. I do not have the bishop carrier available to be built. I also made an alternate production module for the normal Vaygr carrier that contains missile tubes.
Truth of the matter is though, that I don't know what I will include in regular gameplay, and what will be campaign only. Now the next release is still a long way out. This is because it is the campaign release, and needs alot more work.

Thank you. There are a few missions where I need to alter the balance. As for the dreadnought mission, I don't really know what to do there, gonna have to change a few things here and there I imagine.

Well, with the Tiiadan destroyers there, I'de say its either HWU, ADV(not advanced mod), or maybe complex simple because PDS as far as I remember never used that ship model.
