In the comments above you posted a link that goes to a Star Wars: Jedi Academy Mod called "Master Patch + Raytracing = 120+ Games". Not sure how this is connected with Stronghold 2?

You do not need any widescreen mod. Just type your resolution into the autoexec file and it will fullscreen and borderless..

no, they just got the turbolift entry but do not exist as maps. Would be possible of course if someone would map thesee areas and link them to the torbolift entries.

You can't - or let's say not practically. It is either hard coded or maybe valid resolutions are defined in one of the countless text files. You would need to find these values and re-write them to let the engine know what to do. I mean the source code was published... so you can dig into it ;)

I am not really working on it. I just wanted to show what's possible. It's really amazing how nice this game still runs on modern systems at any resolution. Super-Widesreen makes the low polycount less visible and is just looking great with HQ textures. This is still the released mod just with adjusted resolution settings in the autoexec config.

You have to use one of the two exe file that come with the mod in order to get the pre-installed ReShade to work. Or you delete this and try the latest ReShade version. People told me it works.

UPDATE: I tested it with the GOG version and it still works perfect @2560x1440. Just copy/paste the files and set your resolution in the autoexec.cfg in the BaseEF folder. You need to use one of two .exe provided by the mod in order to apply Reshade effects.

Dear all, seems interest raised due to the recent GOG re-release of the game. First off all thank you and no, this is not under active development. My main goal was always – as stated – to rework the Voyager sets to enjoy these. That goal was achieved. I also reworked some Borg, Klingon and Holomatch textures but it is not a full game overhaul.

Haven’t tested my mod with that GOG version but I test it every now and then on my latest system and the mod still works perfectly. Most problems people reporting are always the same and go back to that installation steps from the readme where not followed and people are not aware that they have to adjust their resolution settings in the autoexec.cfg file in the BaseEF folder.

Mod installation and configuration
1. Perform a clean installation of Star Trek Voyager Elite Force.
2. Install the Expansion Pack.
3. Make a backup of your installation just in case (this step is not necessarily required).
4. Launch the un-modded Single Player and Holomatch game modes (always as administrator or setting will not be saved) for the first time and start a game. After that just quit Elite Force (this step is important, since the moddded configuration files could otherwise be overwritten later)
5. Download the ef_gop_vx.xx file and extract with WinRAR to a random folder.
6. Copy the extracted files to your main directory of Star Trek Voyager Elite Force (where the game.exe is located)
7. Go into the BaseEF Folder and open with right click the autoexec.cfg with your text editor:

• Choose your language. It is set to GERMAN. If you don’t speak german, don’t mind…nobody is perfect. Enter ENGLISH instead

seta s_language "x"
seta k_language "x"

• now choose your display resolution
seta r_customwidth "xxxx"
seta r_customheight "xxxx"

Save the setting. My game runs on native 2560 x1440 but I got reports that high resolutions are not always working and the OpenGL subsystem gives an error message on start. If that’s the case try a lower resolution. Make sure you set not higher resolution of your actual display settings.

I hope this will help most people. Also check the old forum. A lot of common issues were mentioned there. One of them is that the game will work less good on integrated GPUs and Radeon Cards.

If you installed the mod and the adjusted config file all Voyager levels and the Tour Mode will look dramatically better (like on my screenshots) since I replaced nearly every texture with a new high resolution one. This was the main goal of my mod. I also reworked some borg, klingon and holomatch textures but not the whole game since it would be too much work for one person.

Hallo! What do you mean with "shutters as hell"? You can also explain it in German ;) Haven't tested the GOG version but I guess since they usually adjust parameters in exe and ini files this could cause some conflicts. Another reason could be the old ReShade version this mod comes with. Try to delete every ReShade file from the game directory and install newest release. From what I have heard this should work fine.

Thank you. Yes always perfom clean installation and adjust your resolution settings and fov settings in the games config or autexec config in the game folder. For this game every resolution seems to work. People told me they play it 4 and 5K.

Hi! Yes, go to the game's main directory and open the Mediator.exe to change ReShade settings . You can activate, deactivate and tweak whatever you want. Or you just delete this ReShade version since it's very old and unstable and install newest release from their website. This should work fine also and you can setup what you want also.

For thousands of people this mod worked like a charm. I recently tested the mod and it worked also without issues and still looks very nice.

Yeah, sorry - I am not a student anymore with endless time to support demanding and rude people. No problem if you don't have basic modding experience to modify a simple config or autoexec. But your initial text just showed that you were not even able to read the installation instructions. Further, other issues were mentioned here at the forum with IGPs and Radeon cards. But as said - and your language confirms that - you are just one of these guys, who are incapable
of everything but the first and loudest to complain. BTW. this is personal work I decided to share for free with other people and not a "job" for guys like you. I owe you nothing boy ;)

Have you read the instructions or troubleshooting page completely? Usually, the OpenGL subsystem error message is caused by wrong resolution settings. You can change to your display resolution in the autoexec config file. How exactly is very easy and explained here:

Sorry mate - not sure which problem you have but usually comments like this are made by people who do not read the instructions or not careful enough. I tested the mod after many years on my fully updated Windows10 machine with modern hardware and it still works like a charm.

Follow instructions and see the forum for troubleshooting. Let me know if everything works fine. Have not updated the mod for over a year. Possibly it is not working as intended on newer Windows 10 Versions. I need to check it.

StevenDR black noise? Goes back to an SSAO overlay malfunction. Either deactivate the SSAO effect with the Reshade Mediator Tool (main folder) or try an older graphic driver version. No other solution at the moment.

All all of the bugs are known and were explained ;) Please read documentations from the forum

- 2520x1440 screen res and game crashed - thats why I wrote a "how to instal" tutorial at the forum ;)

- loadig screen turns white often: happens with custom loading screens from save games. It is due to resolutions the game was not made for.

- Secquences have a 3d ingame background with disturbing lines - goes back to the Reshade injectors SSAO effect. Keep in mind its just an overlay effect for an engine, that was not designed for such a feature. Many games facing this problem with SSAO overlays.

- explosive flash visuals are bugged - use (as written)the quake3.exe to start the game, should solve that problem

Hi StroitbatII,

I installed your mod on the englisch GOG Version of Blitztkrieg 2 Anthology. See my Screenshots: Bilder-upload.eu
Bilder-upload.eu

The Water looks wrong and there are very uncharp textures. I also tried to place your english translation (Custom_12_11h_eng_1.pak) file to the Data folder, but nothing changed. It is still all in russian. Hope you have any advice.

Hi StroitbatII, thanks for your quick responds. All in russian is no optin for me. Of course I know, that the game is available on Steam. But you said your mod will only work with the version from the "publishing house 1C". The Steam Blitzkrieg 2 Antology from Steam is the same like from 1C ? Your mod will work fine also with the Antology version from steam?
