Heads up, Our newest build is now Live on Desura! Steph is now fully playable!

Just a little heads up. The Dina build was just approved by Desura. You can now update the game via the Desura client~

It was an issue with Desura's uploader. The old version should be taken down by Desura's staff when they approve the game for their client.

Desura hasn't approved the files for use in their client yet (should happen sometime tomorrow), but you can grab the standalone by visiting this page in your web browser and logging in.

She's not available yet, but she will be as soon as we have her finished! We'll be releasing the Dina route to the full version very very soon~

There was a slight slip up during the lynn update that took a slice out of Yael. It'll be fixed in the Dina update!

That's pretty much the amount of sales games have been getting through dailyroyale. It's not humble bundle. So it's actually pretty good. XD

We're not planning to go with a particularly serious theme for any of the characters, but we'd definitely love to make a much more serious game in the future. We'll see how everything goes.

As far as we're concerned, we're selling pretty well by dailyroyale's standards.

And for the amount of content in the game (and still coming for it too) it's one heck of a good deal.

I agree, but they (Rei and another unnanounced) were written by a friend of ours in a very different tone. We chose to scrap them because they just didn't fit in.

I think Rei alone could have made for a pretty interesting game though!

lol this character wont be out for a while! But she/he does show up in the Dina route a few times!

I think we'll have Dina put on a bit of weight for the Stephan route. It should be fun!

Rei has been scrapped, we replaced her with another character that we didn't announce yet~ The others will all get their routes as soon as we can get to em! Dan will be getting a nice long route with a lot of love interests!

if you're using the Desura client, there's a little update button on your games screen. otherwise you'll have to redownload the standalone like Zetsub said~

We're only up to character 3 and the game is already bigger than all the VNs on steam which are going for $10.

Its so easy to judge a game at face value these days, but hey, its your money, and Deponia is a great game. XD

Just posting this little heads up, The Lynn update has been approved and is live for anyone looking to try her out~

How to run on a mac ( Updated for Bri Route update ).

Before running the first time:
1) Double click on the zip file in finder to unpack

2) Ignore the gbnate.app bundle ( it's still broken )

3) Open terminal ( you can click on the magnifying glass and type terminal to find the terminal application )

4) Type "chmod a+x " into the terminal window but don't hit return. ( Don't type in the quote marks, just what is inside of them, and make sure you type the space after the a+x )

5) Drag the gbdnate.sh file into the terminal window. ( Don't hit return yet )

6) Open the folders to find the lib -> darwin-x86_64 -> gbdnate file, and drag that also into the terminal window.

7) Click on the terminal window and hit return. ( The full command you are running will be something like: "chmod a+x /Users/name/Downloads/Bri\ Route/gbdnate.sh /Users/name/Downloads/Bri\ Route/lib/darwin-x86_64/gbdnate" )

To run the game
1) Open terminal if it is not already.

2) Drag the "gbdnate.sh" file into the terminal window

3) Click on the terminal window and hit return - game should start

oh no, the 1.1 build has issues with mac, but we uploaded the 1.2 version. We're just waiting for Desura to approve the files and they should work fine on mac.

I'll get you the instructions anyways though.

Well expect new character updates as we crank em out. Once the game is completely finished I don't think anyone will be able to call it short ;P
