I have an idea for an original Survivor, but I don't want to follow it for now. My focus is on War Legacy. I should finish that game first and wile it is generating revenue I can move to other games...

We are going for a free to play because the final scope is to big for any indie team, so by keeping it free to play we can grow it constantly. Adding more game mode and more weapons all the time, why not we can even change the engine in a couple of year if the tehnology asks for it :). Also you can always pay a small amount of money to get ride of any f2p elements if you wish to, but I hope/feel that this game will not get you annoyed if you play as a free player. Look at Dota or Lol, you cannot feel that those two games are jumping on your wallet, at least I don't feel like that with them

I don't know what you want to say exactly, but I gues you are thinking about performance. If that is the case with a nvidia 960 we get 40fps on epic settings and 70fps with the shadows set on high.

it is ww2 as well in a way. A more complete answer will be that it depends of your weapon level, for example if you are lvl 1 you will play with the first fire weapons, then at lvl 5 you will be in the ww1, lvl7 ww2 and finally lvl 10 modern times

If it this will die we will let you guys know. Right now we are keeping this thing alive but things are hard as Vaggar commented.

I will call it sandbox even if you can end it by escaping the island.

UDK doesn't support Linux so there is nothing that we can do, but there are ways to emulate windows games on linux.
