This mod hasn't been made to work with Last stand, but if you are looking for that, Forgotten Emerald is exclusively going for it.

I'm swamped by work and things to fix in the mod, but I'm not opposed to it, or even just adding one as an option if he has slots still.

Important note, the fix works best if you got a good video card, and it doesn't work for laptops as most of them do not.

Check out the tips in discord how to lessen the impact. Orks are getting a fix next patch, and the other races should have less crashing already. Dow2 is 32 bit and its ram seems to run out, so try the 4gb patch in the pinned comments there.

Trying to work on it, not sure how well it will go. Dow2 is 32 bit and the mod is too heavy on its memory with unit stat calculations.

Orks had some tweeks to reduce it so far. Don't run browsers while playing.

Both can't be implemented well due to game limits and would be too OP for the scale of battles the 32 bit game can handle.

It takes longer to load the end screen due to recording and tallying kills.
Discord has a few ideas to reduce that.

Does it crash mid match or on startup or match loading?

If the former, its soundbug, discord has a guide how to mitigate some of it.
If its startup, your installation isn't correct.
If it is during match loading, set textures and models to the highest setting.

You extract it into the dow2 main folder for Retribution.

All factions have almost twice as many units as before.

I can't promise that each race always gets new units in each update.

This can depend on two main factors:
-Can I make the unit? Some units don't have anything for me to work on them, or have no animations that I can assign them to. Examples are the Mastodon and tyranid Hierophant Bio titan, or Dreadknight.
-Are there any units left to add? I can't just make up units, all of them have a lore basis in official productions.

You need the build the beacons as instructed here.
Scouts, Techmarine build the ones with Primaris and heavy tanks. Champion builds the Dreadnought one.

Is your retribution up to date?

You may have installed it in the wrong folder.
Check that your Dow2 retribution main folder has Astartes folder, Astartes.module and Astartes.bat files in it.
