I hope you back up your files after losing the assets for... the atlantis themed level, I think?
This also may be just me but it looks like as if Crash's eyes are going to pop out of his skull but I guess that's part of the whole cartoony thing.

Weird, I never saw him as a buff man... more like an average kid in a costume.
My torrent a workin'. Just add a different tracker to the mediafire torrent.
Thanks whoever posted that.
I hope you're done engine hopping and now focused on developing the game in full. I like what I see so far and I hate to see this "gaamsavv" vanish. I might be able to do some 3d assets someday so... yeah.
I personally would call this on hold rather then cancelled but it's your show. We can't expect one man to do everything with a project like this...
Now are their any hands for a level designer, modeler, animator, programmer, and music composer? Anyone? You know you want to.
If only I wasn't still a rookie with 3DS Max...
That's too bad about the "lost level" but it seems like you guys can manage it. I'm assuming you have the layout still avaliable.
Recently got Crysis 1 for the mod as well.
Is there supposed to be walking Kiwi's in this Mod? They are really angry.
There seems to be a few noticeable problems when using this. The outside area in I think the second level of Doom 3 has massive black particles flying about obscuring my view. I also notice the lighting on some NPCs can make them look plastic-like. Still, I loving this mod. Keep it up!
If only I had some good animation training since I'm still working on modeling with 3DS Max right now.
Okay... let's make this simple.
Crysis 1 = CryEngine 2
Crysis 2 = CryEngine 3
Huh... when I mentioned the use of a rotating camera I meant that it would be automatic in which if you start going backwards it'll rotate behind Crash again to make backtracking easier. Unless there's a chase level or 2D section of course. Still, I do like the open multi-path areas.
Also... I was under the impression of the project switching to CE3 in some manner... but I might have read that wrong. Mind enlightening me?
You are bold to make a claim like that for the release date. Hope the team is up to it.
I understand... I get sidetrack on my projects like everyone else.
Why are you HERE? You seemed to insulted and shot down everything people say to you. You obviously have an issue with one or two individuals in particular.
Plus, anybody can fake their age on the internet.
I expect you got a witty remark.
Looks like progress so far. Too bad I'm still learning 3DS Max though as I would love to help out.
I notice that the HUD objects are treated as part of the game world (shadows, motion blur, lighting) so you might want to look into that.
Hey... maybe you can try doing a running boss battle? Wrath of Cortex had the right idea but it just didn't really strike home that well. Maybe you can do better.
You know it's possible to have a seperate facial animation rig and animation blending, right? That might get the result you're looking for but I'm still an amateur when it comes to 3D animation and modeling.
Looks like Crash wants to headbutt something... but from what you said the animations from the Crysis dude are retargeted onto this model. Now to get the facial and body animations done as well as find a good looking spin attack that the model itself can't do alone. Also, try to control the gibs/fractures or whatever spawned by the boxes unless you like diving into a pile of splinters.
Dispite the requirement of having EP2 to play I'm using just the Source SDK 2007 and 2009 builds and it works fine. There is a problem though as many textures and models won't load so I guess you used some assets from EP2.
Those fork in the road levels are always interesting so why not do something with that? Most levels usually have two roads going left and right but what about going from running toward the screen to going up or down on a wall with a hidden route at the bottom? Just a thought since you might as well take advantage of up, down, left, right, forward, and backwards and camera rotations...
