This is striker105. I hope this msg finds you well. May i ask if you have encounter errors in opening bfmeshviewer 2.5.3 in Window 10 recently? I tried to open he meshviewer but it keeps poping out error "System Error &H80004023; (-2147467229). A Microsoft Software Installer error was encountered.". I googled around and turned on the compatibility mode but no joy. Given that BF2 is an old game and most of the modders are retired, it is hoped that you can enlighten me regarding the above. Many thanks in advance!

Thanks again for the reply. I also emailed the author of the viewer and he offered me the solution as follows:
copy the mscomctl.ocx from the bfmeshviewer zip pack to the SysWOW64, and use cmd by typing "C:\WINDOWS\system32>\Windows\SysWOW64\regsvr32
mscomctl.ocx" to execute the ocx file
The case is now resolved and million thanks for your help!
