First SpecForce Trooper soon to be ingame. Plenty of variants of him to go

new helmet, right? It's amazing how much that makes the whole thing look better. It might look better if you dropped the jaw. The face looks a little too short.
I assume by variants you mean the other combos of the Endor trooper ( 1.bp.blogspot.com ) or do you mean the other divisions?
Yes there's a new backpack and weapon as well. Technically the head is "new", as its from the fleet trooper, since the one on the default forest infantry was pretty irredeemable. Yea I figured out really quick that the helmet, weapon and any big accessories can really upgrade the vanilla units. Saves performance and creates a consistent style. Also with how many units I want to do it allows me to slowly upgrade them all.
I do have some other combinations, such as different backpack variants for Sergeants and the First Sergeant of platoons. But I was referring to species variants and urban/desert/winter variants. Though some of those variants will have a lot more changed than others.
ooh now those backpack variants sound interesting.
I'm excited to see how you do SpecForce Infiltrators as well if you're doing them.
Yea the plan is to finish these guys then scout troopers. After that I'll be onto special forces. First up will be the SpecForce Infiltrators then Storm Commandos.
Essentially so far I have SecForce and the Imperial Army setup in 3 platoon types. Scout, Line and Weapons. SpecForce and Stormtroopers will have the same 3 types as well. There's a few differences in weapons/bikes used. SecForce and Imperial Army will be able to be recruited anywhere, while the "elite" infantry platoons won't be. Special Forces will be a miniature version of all 3 types. So they'll be great to have as a supporting platoon, but will be completely out matched against regular infantry.
