Do you have doom 2 installed on a slower drive or even an external drive? There may be lag from accessing the .wad. That's about the only thing I can think of. If you found the fix by putting it in the gzdoom directory, then you should be good to go, unless you're still having issues.

Don't know if anyone's posted this before, but I have a bug where whenever I load a save as GDI during a campaign mission, the UI shows that I'm playing as Nod. I can play through the mission as normal until I finish it, which it then restarts the same mission because I wasn't actually playing as GDI. If I restart the mission myself, it goes to GDI UI, but if I reload the save again, it switches back.

If you're downloading through your phone to use on a desktop or laptop that isn't connected to the internet, yes.

Most likely, if it follows the standard for modding C&C3;:

Place the unzipped folder or files in the My Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods directory. If there is no Mods folder, you will have to create one.

After that, run the C&C3; Launcher.exe, and click on the Game Browser selection next to Launch, then navigate to the mods tab within the Game Browser and select the mod, and launch.

If you're using Origin, you will have to add a command line argument to open the launcher, "-ui" minus the quotations to either the shortcut on your desktop or through Origin by right clicking on the C&C3; selection and clicking Game Properties, then go to the Advanced Launch Options tab, and typing in the same addition.

So I can't get the launchers to actually launch the mod, thanks to Origin's game launchers not allowing any custom content through, and even with a backed up version of Bibbers' fixed launchers, I can't get it to work. Any ideas from anyone would be helpful.

To list what I've tried;
I used the .bat files from the Launchers download, both of them, I've even attempted to run them as an administrator, and that actually broke them more than doing anything else.
I've attempted to force enable it through the command line options, did not work.

UPDATE: So I guess disabling "Origin in game" rewrote the executables within the Generals ZH folder, allowing it to run without running the launcher, and I only found this out after installing the TS Redux mod and trying to run it with a copy of the ZH folder, which lead me to question why one would work and the other not, I at first thought it was the scripts folder from TSRX, so I tried that and it didn't work. I then copy pasted the EXE from the TSRX folder and it ran just fine.

So yeah, I don't actually know what I did that fixed the issue, but I believe it most likely had to do with disabling "Origin in game" in the Origin application settings, because I did not otherwise edit any other files in the original folder it's installed to.

Having used a monocular nvg system while walking through the woods at night, I can say that your eyes do not necessarily pair the image, instead you are forced to focus with one eye and ignore the "useless" one's input, but I did also lose natural night vision in both eyes.
