Even though I hate to say this, I think there should be a HUD for the AC-130U that’s similar to Modern Warfare like a square or brackets with one dot in the middle. It would be like you’re controlling it with your Piboy and would be a little easier to use. (I accually can't stand Modern Warfare but this is a must have in game)

For anyone still having problems downloading, go into the toolbar of steam and press -steam - settings - Downloads+Cloud- and in there you can change the download region, I personally used Ukraine even though I’m from the US.
