They know that most of their Games like Fallout & Skyrim are only still alive "because" of the modding community. And they want to profit from that, it's that simple. "Why should we not get money on the work others do, to keep our games alive after we lost our interest and stopped to support them?".

The Artstyle is great, I would love to see some sort of Artwork-Booklet or something from your artist/s in the future. He/she/they have a great style. Probably the most beautiful pixel-art I have ever seen. Kudos!

I'm fully against "paid" mods. Just the way I'm against this whole paid-DLC crap that has become so popular. Modder's, since the beginning of game-modding were doing it because it was a hobby. It was fun. They usually never seen their work as something to make money with. They are doing their best to make Games even more enjoyable (more or less). And some have gotten so much attention that they were actually hired to make MONEY out of their hobby. Take a look at DayZ or modders that work now for the Mount & Blade makers and even Valve. If you want to make money, make your own game or work for a gaming company. If you want to share your ideas and compasion for a Game and do your best to make it more fun (atleast in your and maybe your audience eyes) become a modder. Don't expect payment. If people want to contribute to your efforts, let them donate. But if they don't want to... keep doing or STOP modding. Since you might be doing it for the wrong reasons. Cheers.

Nevermind. I made it work (somehow) though those controls are horrible. I never played Quake on the PC. With mouse and keyboard it's nearly impossible to play.

Can't run this game. It's just starting Quake 2.

No... patriotism... no... damn. Have... to buy Total War: Atilla now... even though I don't have the money for it. Grrrr... damn you brilliant modders! But jokes behind... very, very well made. Just have to buy the game now and wait till the mod comes out. Keep up the good work! :)

Very cool! Though I think some of those uniforms look a bit "too clean" in my eyes. I believe if you're serving in the middle of a desert... your Uniform won't shine like it's fresh from the factory (even if you're not a filthy peasent and wash it regulary) besides that, very great models!
