Just wondering if you guys will help develop the COH 1 TGW mod with the assets created in this mod?

unfortunatly I have to agree with Var_emreis. I had been holding out hope that he would continue after the napoleon mod release but we still havent heard a thing since.

I really hope we see a return but I wouldn't be surprised if he is too busy elsewhere.

I myself am starting to lose hope a bit now. Not heard anything in some time :(

It has and it is brilliant. Hopefully now we will see Don and the team return after a well deserved break from releasing the napoleon mod!

so this does affect AI the same way?

I have tried but he doesn't respond to anything about this mod :(

Hey guys, I spoke to user "the soldier" last year in July. I saw that he had worked on this mod with Don and I asked him if he had the french models for this mod.

Luckily he replied "Yes, I still have the models (don_Durandal still intends to release the French faction). If you're here to ask to use them, I unfortunately won't be giving them our or giving permission to do so because of don's intentions. Or is it something else?"

I thought I would post this due to a lot of people still asking for this mod to release.

The great war mod for Napoleon is almost complete, (which don is helping produce) by the looks of it a few more months and then it's done.

After that mod is complete we may see a return of this mod and the French faction added at long last.

Please be patient though :)

I have absolutely no reason to "wing" any of these responses, I wouldn't gain anything from it. All I can say is the people I have spoken to said to me, as far as they are aware he intends to release it.

He also probably isn't going to be giving any messages in the meantime due to the fact so many people have been pestering him for so many years about this mod, I can't blame him.

If we can just try to stay positive and he sees that it may help encourage him to want to finish the mod. For the past few years, we have all been begging for this mod to be released but we should just wait and see what happens with it.

I completely understand, however after speaking with people working on the mod there is still hope. According to my sources he still has the intention to release the mod. I do think we just need to be patient and positive.

He’s not working on this at the moment as far as I can gather HOWEVER. All the assets he is tirelessly working on for the napoleon mod can be used for this mod. We just have to be patient and hope for his return after he has finished the napoleon mod. We need to try and keep this small community positive. The last thing he will want is to come back to a salty community demanding a free update for a free mod.

We just have to wait for the update to come. I have spoken to a few people that have worked on and are working with Don and they have all said he still plans to release it but we just have to wait for him to release it.

We just have to be patient

Love the work on NTW but is there any chance the TGW mod for COH will come out?

I highly doubt we will see anything at this point. I've spoken to the developer of the submod for realism and he mentioned that the creator has been blanking him along with everyone on here.

It's very sad to see but it looks like he's moved on and the mod is never going to be released.

I would love to see him return after working on the mod for Napoleon but I doubt he will. I don't think there are enough people playing COH anymore for him to think its worth his time.

This is not the full ww1 mod. The creator behind this mod did not create the factions. He edited the game to be more realistic and he also added more systems.

How about reading up on the mod before saying that it's unfair that russia aren't in the mod.

Sorry to bother you Don I know this is the the great war mod for Napoleon but will the French army even be added to COH or has the mod stopped development?

If it has stopped that's a shame but it would be nice to know.
